Earlier than that Matrix catches up with Sully. After deadpanning the fact that he would kill him last after Sully jokes about molesting his daughter, he reveals that he in fact lied and drops him off a cliff

David Patrick Kelly has been a short slimeball who has died in every single movie I’ve seen him in

He ended up with the Girl Band after stalking them in Ford Fairlane rock n roll detective

    Loves Arnie

I think he's an under-rated actor. Does great action stuff but also great comedy too. Watched him in Aftermath a few years back and he was excellent in a straight, serious role.

Right, so - I don't remember much of last night - pretty sure I didn't even manage to finish watching Commando - so giving it another go now. (Imagine how drunk some fluffybunny must be to not finish Commando! Or to forget it.)
Starting from the point where he's rowing to shore - with a completely clear ocean behind him.

I can't believe I'm saying this (to you). But if you are concerned about the transparency of seawater in an Arnie movie you simply aren't drinking enough.

@nostrildamus I didn't mean the ocean water was transparent - but the horizon was clear. He was supposed to be rowing towards the island... but... no island in sight.
Your sentiment holds true regardless, I guess.

Must say that I am proud to have inspired a three day argument over just how great a movie Commando was.

Lets see more Fred-Flinstoning in action movies.

I never noticed before, but is that actually real footage from the movie?

Mac is one tough sumbitch, and he's screaming as he's firing. Arnie looks like he's just chilling

…….and good old Billy in the background.

He’s worth a google and how he was on the set of Predator. Sounds like a lunatic.

Throw in Jesse the body Ventura and Carl Weathers……wow, what a cast of units !!!

Commando its THE quintessential (and greatest) 80s action movie. Over the top hero. Over the top villains. One liners all over the shop. A plot that barely survives any in-depth thinking (and if you are doing that you are doing it wrong anyway), and a body count that would make the Black Plague proud. Some fucking great deaths too.

    Excellent in every way.

discussion about all of his best films

bro, an almost unmatched set of credits. ranking them is almost impossible.

    Commando
    Predator
    Conan the Barbarian
    True Lies
    T2
    T1
    Red Heat
    Raw Deal
    fuck, Total Recall!
    The Running Man

Twins and Junior and Kindergarten Cop...

No two rankings are going to be the same

To further add to the Arnie circle jerk…..

I can’t believe people mention Sly as a serious rival.

Arnie has an X factor SS could only dream of

    It’s not even close.

Would add Conan the Destroyer and take out Junior.

Last Action Hero is fun but probably doesn’t make the shortlist .

Very hard to actually rank them though

Not to mention Jean Claude, or Dolph. And don't even get me started with the new breed like Vin Diesel, who aren't fit to lace Arnie's combat boots

The original Conan is a classic, all that moody steroid-enhanced existential brooding. And the face behind Darth Vader's voice. And a snake to make lair of the white worm look like a common garden adder.
