So BOBF got infinitely better when it morphed into TM for a couple of episodes.
I can't agree, to me it just made two shows shittier.
You like the sequels more than the prequels though
Yes, because I have taste. Although I don't like all the sequels, just the first two, the third is a shit show on the level of the prequels.
The sequels are absolutely appallingly written and whoever came up with the story just made it up as they went along.
Yet, the prequels are dogshit and they supposedly have one vision, so what are you going to do? Watch the originals, Rogue One, and Andor I suppose.
I do find it funny how many people claim to dislike TFA these days though, it was huge at the time. But then the Disney hate started ...
TFA is easily the best of the bunch.
It basically all turned to shit the moment Han died.
In fact all the OGs with the exception of Lando and Chewie were treated terribly

Chewie was treated badly too, when Leia hugged the new girl after Han died. It was like the medal ceremony all over again.

Yup, I've watched those multiple times, the others, once (and most not even all the way through)
I do find it funny how many people claim to dislike TFA these days though, it was huge at the time. But then the Disney hate started ...
TFA was huge as SW was back and everyone was excited. It wasn't totally awful but it was average, and it will got worse from there.

L3-37 had some child bearing hips as the pic shows….
So the above meme might not even be a meme by the next round of movies….

Sign me up for this.
Already it looks more action packed than the first season and great to see at least three familiar faces from Rogue One.
Would love to see some Vader and Tarkin but very doubtful that will happen
( and to be honest would be gratuitous and unnecessary)
-
i was just thinking this looks great and they should build up to a feature length movie.......

Yeah I hope it is not more action packed than the first series. There's enough action and Jedi stuff out there, andor was brilliantly paced S1. I hope for more of the same
Needed a bit more action overall I reckon, was a bit talky at times.
But yeah ‘real’ tense action not some ridiculously overpowered Jedi/mando or whatever mowing down dozens of stormtroopers at a time
-
Just on my previous post, was reminiscing about Andor and remembered this scene…..
The Trooper obviously has some quotas to fill and decides Andor looks dodgy for no apparent reason. I really love the bizarre dialogue he comes up with too….
( I have no idea what the ‘it’ he’s referring to is )
Whilst he is a bit smarter than the average grunt I have absolutely no doubt Mando, Boba, Ahsoka or any of the female sidekicks would smoke his ass ( plus any reinforcements ) without a moments hesitation, Andor just doesn’t have that ability, that in itself is such a big part of what makes the show compelling.

I'm with @Machpants I love the talky of it. GoT was great when it was a political show, less great when it became a dragons action show. I don't want Andor to go that way. Happy to have S1 and S2 of Mando for that (and the original 3 movies).

I’m talking about the balance side of things ( not balance in the force, balance in a show ) too much of one or the other gets a bit much.
The action has to mean something and the meaningful stuff has to build to some good action……
This all makes sense in my head at least
That scene in the cornfields with Andor running looks promising. I wonder if some walkers will turn up to chase him too ?

I don't want watch trailers so I'm no use with the speculating.
Spoiler alert.
Looks like Jar Jar and Rose have some inter species love action going on

i think im with you, one of the best moments of S1 was this
this kind of menacing dude suddenly unleashes hell, its a pay off for the tension that get built up in the talkie bits

That ship is up there with Slave 1
Doesn’t take much to destroy a tie fighter to be fair. Mass produced crap. The pilots didn’t have much of a life expectancy.
Fun fact. Their helmets are a combination of stormtrooper helmets and rebel helmets.

id take a movie with a large space ship battle, maybe in orbit around a planet, things like that and the coarsier ramming the imperial ships in rogue one are cool
