    @Duluth

    Nah not as straight forward as that... we are an enigma this year, I would not be shocked to beat Auckland, not because we are that good, or Auckland bad.. but because we have no consistency at all and can move from turgid to dangerous a any moment. Auckland might be unlucky and meet us n a good day, and we could beat anyone... however that id unlikely.

    @Baron-Silas-Greenback I'm expecting us to score five tries under the posts, but then lose because they were all unconverted. Or to score five tries in the first half, and then forget where the field was after halftime. It's a bizarre season.

    @Donsteppa

    That would be crazy. Almost as crazy as leading a shield match by 29-11 with 8mins to go and somehow losing..

    Has the mafia forgiven Carrington now 20 years have past?

    Nice to see some back 3 talent back for Auckland. That will help.

    Yeah I could see this being a crazy game - both teams have been culpible of switching off in games this season.

    Nice to see Fatialofa there - he was carrying his arm pretty badly coming off the the field last week.

    An Eden player in the side! Not something you see everyday.

    Good to see some talent back out wide. Should help our inconsistent attack.

    Must start better if we are to get up. Can't keep falling 15 points behind early on in every game.

    @Duluth Carrington will be forgiven some time between the sun engulfing the earth, and the universe contracting into oblivion...

    Yup, it's good to have some attacking threats out wide again. Last weeks' back 3 was one of the worst back 3s I've seen in the blue and white hoops.

    Do we get Ben Lam back this season? His recovery time was 6 months, and it's now been 6 and a half months since his injury. It'd be nice to round out the back 3 with him in there.

    @Dice Yeah I saw it being an achillies heel for us this year if we got injuries and unfortunately it has held us back.

    I doubt Ben Lam will be back. It's a shame because he's a beast at this level.

    I wouldn't know Auckland club rugby since I left in 93 but who would Eden's last rep have been? Lindsay Harris? He was before my time at the club.

    Stan Haukinima back in around 07-08 would have been the last one that I can think of off the top of my head.
