Fair play to the Chiefs, their bench has made the difference.
Yep. Ratima to 9 and DMac moving to 10 has been the difference.

Blues really miss Akira and Sotutu.
Both overrated according to the south islanders.

Not tonight no.

You can't carry Choat and Segner in place of Sotutu and Ioane, while relying on good decisions from Christie and Barrett, and hope to dominate territory and possession.
-
Fair play Chiefs, could this be your year?
-
Huge amount of penalties from the Blues tonight - BB just like he does to the ABs - kicks possession away far too much.
Chiefs played well fwds were very good and I thought Tupaea played particularly well - - but game changed with Ratima to 9 and Dmac to 10 imo
-
13-6 penalty count the difference. Too much easy possession

or maybe they (secretly) rated them so highly they connived to get rid of them??

This season could be a good test of Vern's coaching agility, can he mould the replacements into his style or will he have to change his tactics?
