@Canes4life Shirley we do....

Over 50% of players have likely selected Roigard and McKenzie as their 9/10 combo even though McKenzie is playing 15 this week. 61% of players have picked Roigard and 51% of players have selected McKenzie.
I'm hoping it doesn't matter which position they're actually playing in if they're on the field but not available in that specific position on the fantasy league.
-
@antipodean don't expect it will.
If they are playing they can earn points.

Despite the apparent instructions about being able to change before every game I'm only making changes once a week before game 1 of that round.
Changing EVERY game makes no sense to me, and I can't make the time to watch them all live, or be on my phone at prescribed times.
Will make little difference to my finishing position I'm sure.
Nah I went digging on this, and you can't change a player once their team starts their game for that round. So only useful if someone gets injured near gameday.
Presumably unused budget can be used next week?
I also don't see anything around player values going up or down throughout the season - anyone know whether that will be happening?
-
@delicatessen kinda defeats the purpose of they don't change value?

Yeah? Isn't that what I said?
Team should be locked at kick off in the first game of the round.

That would be a bit shit for game day replacements.

The way you said it I thought they were allowing replacements of any player at any point in the round. So if Roigard shat the bed you could replace him with Funaki before Saturday's game. Which would be preposterous.

@Bones agree. But I wouldn't put it past this crowd.
Yeah after spending so long putting together something akin to a supermarket website from a decade or two ago, I tend to agree.

I've actually completely confused myself. I think that's what I thought , but am convinced there should be a cut off for transfers at 7pm nzt, opening up again after the last game.
Tough shuit for any late changes.

I'd lose even more interest if that was the case.
-
@booboo pretty sure thats how most of the other ones worked, cut off at this point, which was the same for everyone with that player in thier team.
I would honestly not remember to check and change for late injuries, especially for games I wont end up watching.

Thoughts on when you would use your "Boosters"?
When it's apparent I need a hail mary to not come last.
-
@Paj I was going to save mine to see what player form is like and which are likely to be worth using them on, bit early to use them at this stage I think
-
I think boosters are best to use in a round where there a more mismatches and a few teams are likely to put plenty of points on. With all the injuries this round and all matches being pretty hard to pick, I don't think many boosters will be used this round across the comp.
-
@Canes4life The issue is we often see the best players not play many minutes,, if at all,, in those mismatch rounds.
-
Without giving my team away I've got:
3x Hurricanes
3x Blues
2x Highlanders
2x Waratahs
1x Crusader
1 x Chief
1x Moana
1x Force
1x Drua -
3 x Blues
3 x Saders
3 x Tahs
2 x Chiefs
1 x Moana
1 x Brumbies
1 x Clan
1 x Canes
