@ACT-Crusader Williams is gonna love playing pick n roll with Luka, LBJ or Reaves

And ultimately it was about money and power. Surprise surprise.
I have more time for the Mavs than the Lakers so I’ll start there.
AD has had his best season in ages. He’s playing at an all NBA level. He will be able to play the 4 with two very good centre options in Dallas. He has the game that will be a seamless transition for any team. He is a defensive ace and no longer has a pea heart.Broooooo

I was going to write “I really hope we see it” - but then I’m not actually sure. He burned a fair bit of cred with me (which I’m sure keeps him up at night…) with the way he exited NO.
I find it hard to root for the pea heart
Kyrie I could watch play all day , though I’m not sure I could last 15 minutes in a room with him
This team screams failure to me

If LeBron isn't the most drug tested athlete on the planet then the NBA just want him there for the ratings...
Seriously, what he is doing at his age is nothing short of phenomenal. I get all the "he barely played defence " chat but fuck the haters.
He continues to be amazing and the league will be poorer when he leaves it in 2035. (Who will the lakers pair with him when Luka retires?)
And Steph was washed at half time, and then he hit 37 to nearly drag his shit team home.

With Luka on board, this might extend LeBron's career further. He doesn't need to carry the team anymore. He can probably save more gas for the playoffs now

42 / 17 / 8 with 3 turnovers, a steal and a block
Fucking incredible

And, in the least surprising news, AD is still made of glass.
Can’t be true, @ACT-Crusader said he was a changed man! Heart of stone, muscles of granite, nerves of steel…

They were talking surgery today.
MF Mavs fluffybunny owners bullshitting on about guys who go the extra mile, and they buy this fucking pea-hearted fluffybunny?
The post from the new guy was fucking hilarious too, they managed to leave out Dirk in their list of hardworking guys.
Look, consider your audience a bit, even when giving the shittest of takes.

That was fucking incredible, kicking out paying fans for that.
The organization is well and truly fucked and this year is down the shitter. Is there any chance it will get better next year? Not fucking likely with pea heart another year older and likely to be injured again, with Kyrie no doubt looking to move.
But we need hard workers.
What fucking tossers. -
Celtics v Spurs is showing a championship calibre team playing a team still outside the play-in
Spurs are still a mile off contending. One 2nd year player with unlimited potential, one first year player with what looks quite high potential in Castle, a high level experienced player in Fox still feeling his way in, and a bunch of role players to end of bench guys. Oh and very old Chris Paul who probably shouldn't be starting now.
Not helped by having an interim coach out of his depth.Celtics look they are about to get moving for the year. And how did i miss my boy Torrey getting traded there?

He’ll be a very good fit as a 3 and D guy. If one of their frontliners look weary he will be able to step in.
It was quiet as the Celts made only one fairly insignificant move in the trade period (moving Springer to the Rockets to open a roster spot) and just waited to pick up Craig in the buyout market

It was only the Jazz, but thought Simmons looked pretty good today with the Clips. Played with a little freedom and back to a more attacking style circa 76ers.
What a game from Exum. Mavs with a good win without Kyrie, Klay, Washington plus all the bigs being out.

I love basketball, I played until I was 36, and have followed the NBA closer than schoolwork or uni or real work for 30 years now
But the last 5 years I’ve hardly watched a regular season game. This season I’ve found myself not even checking the scores
I just can’t bring myself to sit down and watch a game that the players don’t really even care about.
I hope I find the juice for the playoffs
