Bobby V
Played well and caused problems against all the sides he played this season
Behind a different front 5 he would have been World Player of the Year material

Grégory Alldritt - Mr Reliable for France. Tackles and carries superbly.
He had an outstanding 6N but has faded completely during the November internationals. Ben Earls is my nominee for this year. He is the main (sole ?) England's weapon in attack. A constant danger when carrying and a huge work rate.
-
Sititi. Not only had to play blindside flanker, but did the most effective carrying in the All Blacks loose forwards.

No, that was the PoTY dominating that position apparently. So my nomination is half serious and half piss take.

Joaquín Oviedo was pretty good for the Argies. Carries hard in heavy traffic, makes a ton of tackles and can run at space effectively. Best forward on the park in the Argies win over the boks and in the conversation in every other game he played.
Someone should nominate Doris but it’s not going to be me.

OK. I nominate Caelen Doris. First off, he has a great name. Also though he carries well and invariably gives Ireland good, go forward ball. He’s defensively sound and a nuisance at the breakdown but the thing that stands out for me is that he usually fro to up in the big games. Barring injury he will be the Lions 8 and could be captain.

@Tim was good in Superrugby but didn’t show up for the All Blacks
Plus, according to ruck.com he’s going to sign for Gloucester and switch allegiance to England. So I’m calling it that he stays where he is, cements his place with NZ and makes team of the year 2025.
Ruck.com can fuck right off.
