Australia v India

@voodoo see the first 3 words of my last paragraph.
Think you are being way over the top with your critique myself. It’s not cool, but sheesh can’t look your family in the eye? Get a grip.
Top level cricket, especislly vs Aus at home, has always been top tier tough. Kohli looks pretty petulant here but that’s about it.

Ultimately, cricket is a non-contact sport, where the ball is the vessel through which contact is made (from the bowler's hand, onto the batter's bat or body, or into the fielder's hands). Kohli deliberately and clearly crossed that line.
The very light punishment sets a precedent, I fear.

@voodoo can you read?
Why would I do something I don’t condone?
Well you opened with “who cares” and then tried repeated to tell us that it’s a tough game and the Aussie’s are pricks.
So you may not “do it “ or “condone it”, but you’re definitely making light of it
Nobody is suggesting we cancel him, but a Level 2 punishment of a 1 game suspension should have been the minimum for me
And for what it’s worth, the commentators all agree with me

Why have I given up on test cricket almost? I agree Kohli looked a twat for wlking past and banging against his shoulder, but f*** me it was a bump and he looks a dick but that's about it? He didn't hurt him or anything. The game supporters seem to be looking for things to sqeal about?? My son here and he going crook, I reminded him of the sldging etc they used to do when he played rep cricket, that would hurt a lot more than that.

To be fair to Kohli, the way the kid curls his top lip as the bowler is approaching is pretty bloody annoying.

Because cricket isn't rugby. Or even football. Contact is not required or allowed, and Kohli deliberately sought it out.

@voodoo I’m making lighter of it than you are, yes. I’m happy to agree to disagree and walk away, but:
Aussie comms agree? That is a non existent argument. If you don’t worship the altar of Oz cricket, you cannot commentate their summer.
Ravi Shastri and Michael Vaughan. Hardly Aussie sycophants

Smith with a second ton in two matches. That's 34 in Tests, and not far from 10k
You can thank me for that! I said in the first test I thought age was catching up with him, and that his dodgy technique walking across his stumps would finally be found out now his eye is not as good... so he goes and scores two superb tons! Incredible player.

Who cares?
Aussies been treating opposition like shit for years on their home territory. Anybody want their fuckin arm broken?
Don’t condone it, but no interest in Aussies getting pissy about it.
Really?
I thought it was really fucking average behaviour. The captain of the most popular cricket team on the planet intentionally shouldering a 19yr old kid on debut because he was slapping their bowlers around a bit. What a complete piston wristed gibbon.
And what a pathetically (yet totally expected) weak sanction.
He should have been banned from the 5th test as a minimum. This wasn’t a few words about his mum, this isn’t getting into his head. It was deliberate physical contact.
And don’t get me started on the way he carried on like a wounded pork chop who’d been on the receiving end of a Jerry Collin’s special
Complete fuckwit, how could you look your wife and kids in the eye after that?
Both things can be true.
Kohli being a petulant piston wristed gibbon who should be banned and not wanting to put up with the bleating of some precious fans who delighted in the sportsmanship of underarm bowling...
