Do they bat Jaiswal at 3 going forward?
He's too good to open
Not sure I agree with that, you’re making openers sound like dogsbodies when some of the greatest batsmen of all time went in first.
Who then had better batsmen behind them at first drop

Not always. Hobbs and Sutcliffe were a class apart from those who followed.
Sunil Gavaskar was far and away the best batsman of his generation.
Graham Gooch was usually better than those who followed.
Okay, Hayden and Langer arguably had even better guys below them.
Same with Greenidge and Haynes.
We’ll call this a draw

The mating cry of the loser
Fucken whatever caaaant. As @Virgil said NZ would have won this test by now

I’m loving that teams really like to get a wriggle on at test cricket these days.
Despite Loose Bus changes old school glacial like batting performance India have a 380 run lead on day three with a good chance for an early morning declaration. Still so much time for either team to win although we’re looking more butter chicken than shrimp on the barbie at the moment.
Test cricket rocks.

Virgil has a blow up Kane Williamson doll he got off you. Surprised you didn't put it on the spit tbh.
I needed something to replace the Richie McCaw one
A doll can only take so much pounding from offside aye bro

When chasing a large total you often reflect on what could have been. 49 extras so far this innings

Kohli gets his first test hundred in fuck knows how long and frustratingly edges a wee bit more in front of KW…..
New Aussie opener shits the bed, loads of pressure on everyone else now.
Ridiculous 4th innings chase for Oz. My 5-0 prediction looking utterly tenuous at best
-
They love a hard deck these Indians.
India get Oz 3–12 to close out the day. Survival mode will be the order of the day tomorrow.

Bus change lifted his strike rate heaps so that’s a positive

Strange decision to send out a night watchman. Asking a lot of Cummins and not surprisngly, too much.
Then Marnus gets out, anyway.
Jaiswal has an interesting backstory...
Yashasvi Jaiswal was born on 28 December 2001 in Suriyawan, Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh, as the youngest of four children, to Bhupendra Jaiswal, the owner of a small hardware store, and Kanchan Jaiswal, a housewife. At the age of ten, he moved to Mumbai to receive cricket training at Azad Maidan. He was initially given accommodation in a dairy shop in return for work but was evicted by the shopkeeper as he was unable to work frequently due to his practice schedules. As a result, he lived in a tent with the groundsmen at the Maidan, where he sold panipuri to make ends meet.
After living in tents for three years, Jaiswal's cricketing potential was spotted in December 2013 by Jwala Singh, who ran a cricket academy in Santacruz. He provided Jaiswal with a place to stay, before becoming his legal guardian and obtaining his power of attorney.

Decision to bat first looking like pure genius now. A bit more patience from our guys this morning (looking at Carey) and we might have at least been able to compete.
Soft underbelly of our batting line-up now relying on Smith and Waj to make face-saving double tons in a noble loss
