HBO made a Yacht Rock documentary. As the re-discoverer of Byrne and Barnes, and a long time correspondent of the UK literary agent who made this happen, I am very pleased to see it happen.

Those Classic Album docos are a good watch. Many are available on DVD/BR. Martin Birch was the man with the albums he produced in the 1970s and 1980s.

There’s a lot to love about Iron Maiden.

They’re well at that age where lots of groups sound old and tired but can confirm from mates who saw them in Auckland that they still sound sensational and full of energy.

Top notch musos ( all of them, especially Steve Harris ) and Dickinson still has the voice.

I have seriously enjoyed rediscovering STPs music in the last year. Their first three albums are absolute masterpieces.
