Yeah it wasn't even directed at him, it was being shouted repeatedly like an instruction and he decides it's for him and follows up by going up to the ref in the middle of the match with a very serious accusation that he knows will be heard on the mic.

Just listening to the audio.... As an Afrikaans person really think it is Wyd Kant.... And English player assumed it was aimed at him.... Wyd kant means wide side .... I.E not the blind side

I just dont see this happening.... Ireland would want to continue their winning streak not to mention they would prefer playing the weaker side in the quarter so would want to finish top of log.

This whole theory falls apart if you consider Ireland is on a 16 game winning streak. They are a great team and will not want to lose that momentum.... Or the chance to equal / break the record.
