@Stockcar86 yep that’s certainly true , they just always seem to be injured because they are not yet quite adapted for that level. Only 1 or 2 should ever be looked at. when there are already sufficient HB players eligible already in the bay. If anything apprentices should be around the 21- 25 age group. Also keeping our Colts teams full and experienced far better rugby learning also ,building themselves up actually playing club rugby is the way to go . Selectors need to be out watching. Young men going away to travel and play also as holistically they are learning and growing as better Rugby players.

I think they should cut a lot of these rep teams and just let the boys enjoy their rugby for the season . Finding too many boys are feeling the pressure , too early then quitting . Some of our greatest Rugby players started in their last years at high school , or at Colts level.

From my perspective I don’t think 18yr olds have enough club experience to play at NPC level ...constant injuries , mental health , entitlements ... let them evolve in their own time , thoughts ? -
