@shark but what was the COTD more importantly.
Fucking parrot fish. And yellow fin tuna. I'm a bit sick of tuna.

Most of them are fine. There's one who forgets to take his meds every now and then
What I think you'll find, is actually taking a lorazepam on top of about 12 beers, a glass of rose and three cocktails of the day, possibly isn't the greatest combination for inducement of thoughtful commentary. But I stand by my assessment.

The moment they start calling any and everyone a fuckwit proves theyβve lost any semblance of an argument.
Just one fuckwit.

Man, I missed all the fun.
All is right in the world when toys are being the out of pram like that. Pretty upset for a game he couldnβt be bothered to watch.
Not possible in the Cook Islands.

@shark Ah, so butt-hurt that you can't even manage the haughty and drawn-out strops you threw when the Chiefs won the championship and you became immensly upset that everyone viewed Rennie as a better coach than Blackadder.
One loss and the Blues squad is so inadequate at this level they can't possibly have won.
More made-up bullshit. Absolute fucking garbage.
I never liked Blackadder and most would realise that, so you've made that blatant lie up outta nowhere.
And I've fully credited the Blues for their win, despite having a lesser squad / 23 than the Crusaders.
If there was a bullshit-o-tron on TSF, and it booted you off once you reached a certain level, you'd be long gone.

Great answer. About as well reasoned as your original post, or your classic "Akira Ioane couldn't make the Canterbury team" posts.
Share some of your great knowledge some time though. Please do. They'll probably be such great posts that they make the Crusaders win that game, or their players look adequate at test level.
I love this revisionist fuckwit garbage you post, expecting other fuckwits will swallow it.

@stargazer That seems pretty accurate.
I think Cullen Grace is worth a mention - prominent with ball in hand and made metres off the back of the scrum when needed. He looks more like an AB this season than the year he was picked. Even with several loosies ruled out there's going to be one or two unlucky guys when it comes to AB selection.
Newell caught my eye with a couple of powerful surges near the line when he came on.
Grace doesn't have enough 'X Factor'. Write him off -

Compare that to the Blues sporting the likes of Eklund, old man Romano, Goodhue, Lam, Lay, Choat and Heem, none of whom would have been required in Super Rugby's hey day
You mean in the glory days of Corey Flynn, Ross Filipo, Con Barrell, Sam Broomhall, and Adam Whitelock? All those players you named are high quality at Super Rugby level. Lay was very solid for Bristol in the UK Premiership.
You have zero knowledge

@taniwharugby they are really good, but sides will back themselves to get up. Their ceiling isn't what past sides have been.
More importantly, the conveyor belt of talent is weaker than it's been for ages
Agree, I and other Sader fans have been beating this drum for a while now. There is not the depth there once was and there are some positions where the starters are just Super level at best. In saying that a couple of youngsters have popped their heads up high enough this year to suggest that there is still some talent coming through.
Yes and no. I don't think we're any worse off than any other side in terms of fringe or even inadequate players. The depth is not what it once was. There are literally dozens of players in and around the squads these days who never would have had a look in before we started losing substantial quantities of players overseas, combined with vast inexperience as lots of U20s are pressed immediately into service. Looking at our side last night, the only areas we were a bit exposed were at lock / lock cover and hooker cover. But even at lock, Gallagher looks immediately at home. Compare that to the Blues sporting the likes of Eklund, old man Romano, Goodhue, Lam, Lay, Choat and Heem, none of whom would have been required in Super Rugby's hey day, and we look a cut above, on paper.

I've only seen a YouTube highlights package but have to say well played to the Blues, a deserved win. Papali'i clearly the star turn in either forward pack but Jordan seems to have also had another big night. It's now a Papali'i vs Savea debate for mine.
As an aside, I was quite dismayed by the lack of gas shown by Dom Gardiner as he pretty much lumbered towards the corner. He had a head start and the angle from around 22 out but was easily mown down well short of the corner. He's supposed to be a 6 (albeit covering lock in this 23) and should be able to make more of a contest of that situation.

@mariner4life the Gabba is a sell out for the Pies game, impressive. Obviously a lot of fans who are more optimistic and also maybe think more of the Pies than they deserve (let us hope).
-
@crucial No. I'm not a hater, and he's been good for us since 2017, but he's not in my top 23.
-
Good to see Barrett get another crack at 12. Say what you like about Holland but he's the first coach to select Barrett in what I believe is his best position since he debuted in the NPC for Canterbury. I've been suggesting this for years.
-
Goodhues' potential return certainly creates a logjam at 13. In the backs the certainties for mine outside halfback are Mo'unga, Havili'i (say what you like about his AB status but he's a stud at 12 at SR level) and Jordan at 15. So the three-quarters are a free-for-all and there are so many potential combinations it's not funny between Bridge, Reece, Ennor, Leicester and Goodhue. One of those guys misses the 23 entirely. And then we still have Fihaki lingering about. I'm not game to pick the combo Razor might settle on if/when all fit, but my ideal is probably Goodhue 13, Reece and Leicester on the wings and Ennor on the bench. Jordan at 15, Richie at 10 and I don't mind who at 9 of Hall, Drummond and TTT. Then one of the latter on the bench along with Fergus Burke.

What a retard
Fuck off. You said: I think he disappointed at 8 because he lacks the skillset.
Yeah, looked very lacking in skillset last week, for sure.
Apologies for the language, seems a bit OTT upon reflection

@crucial Agree mate, I was on Cullen Grace's wagon a couple of years back, and still am for future, but I reckon he has had one good game in last couple of years, and certainly would want to see a lot more before elevating him to far!
Funny how some guys - such as Keith Robinson - gain legendary status during lengthy injury absences, and others are considered to have played poorly whilst sitting on the couch.
Epic troll!
For every Robinson fanboy there were about 3 detractors.
Never let the truth get in the way of a Crusader crusade.
That is some epic revisionism. I'd say the ratio was close to reversed, or at least the Waikato and Chiefs fans made so much of him that it seemed that way.
