Awesome fight to end the year. 116-112 on all 3 cards? I personally thought it was slightly closer.
Closer yes, but Fury didn’t win despite what Frank Warren says.
Agreed

Fuck Smith is good. Imagine him in a black jersey.
Shame because in his last prefight interview on BBC Sport, he still had that calm, quiet, fucking menacing demeanour which meant I genuinely feared for Paul.
@KiwiInLondon Man I’m sooo hoping we see a 2004 France-esq performance; I honestly think we’re building into it. Would be great to see a bunch of the newer guys step up and own it on the ultimate stage.
Nice article on Robertson.

And yet it’s drowned out by the slave song. It’s a bit annoying, but begrudgingly it is a good response for the sheer volume.
Any Ferner representation at Allianz Stadium on Sat? I recently decided to go, to catch up with mates. I believe it’s sold out but managed to get tickets at face value on the members only RFU ticket resale site. Getting relatively expensive with basic Cat 4 el cheapo at 99 quid, increasing by 30 quid for each subsequent category.
Codie Taylor?
Yeah I don’t mind that at all.

Nobody? Somebody called Wallace seemed to go alright.
He’s v inexperienced though. Wallace is basically a Grommet; therefore the jury is still out.
Yeah it was McIvor. The experts with him are pretty good at explaining detailed stuff quite simply. I think it’s Glen Ashby who sailed with ETNZ last time, and English sailing legend Shirley Robertson. They also have Peter Lester in his 11th America's Cup campaign. The latter reckons the kiwis get up to speed faster through the tacks and that’s the biggest difference between the respective boats.
When saw it live on tv I thought it was a bit of a dick qn the way it came out
I wouldn’t have BET on Pakistan losing ahead of the 2nd innings …

Fantastic racing today. Americans still in it. The cool thing is if a boat is way behind with this design they can still win., in previous displacement designs the result would often be a foregone conclusion,
What was cool about displacement boats was that there isn't a risk of falling off the foils and we saw a lot more +10-15kt days on the water and the boats could handle a greater variance in conditions. Also, if they got so far behind they could, as a hail Mary, head out to the opposite side of the world in search of wind and cum back. Boats could also get closer to each other.
Sounds like a v niche ‘yacht race’
Yeah he only breaks it by a cm each time though. Smart guy with his sponsor incentives.

Tom Pidcock produced an outstanding ride to retain the men’s MTB title. He’s only ridden mtb a couple of times this year and is also in with a shout in the road race on the weekend on a course that suits him.
Never watched it before but that was pretty fun to watch. How he recovered so quickly from that flat tyre change disaster was incredible.
All that sucking on Pogacar’s (exhaust) pipe (see Road Cycling thread)
