@sparky Would feel very comfortable with Cam Roigard playing at 9 for the ABs if any of our halves had an injury.

Luke Jacobson and Billy Harmon on this week's performances.

@KiwiMurph I wonder if he could be a solution in the future at 10 for the All Blacks. He has a powerful boot and looks composed under pressure. I am no expert like some of the other posters, I do feel confident when he is in a pressure situation, he can use his powerful boot to get us out of trouble.

Really think we should have come over earlier and had an extra warmup game against Japan or one of the island nations or even played in Japan.
-
@Kiwiwomble Just watched the highlighs and really thought the Landers were pretty unlucky. They broke the line only to drop the ball, also was surprised the Landers never got awarded at least one penalty try. Berry desperately wanted the Force to win by the look of it.

@nostrildamus Aumua has to be in the picture for the northen tour.

This is a reel from last year on Zarn and his brother Bailyn. Remember the drop goal he scored against the Tahs last year in an understrength Blues outfit, very much a clutchplay.

Mark Telea was an absolute freak tonight.

@KiwiMurph Leicester blew RTS away for speed tonight. Will RTS even be in the World Cup side?

@KiwiMurph said in New All Black Hookers:
I can see George Bell being fast tracked sooner rather than later.
He scored a hatrick v Australia Under 20s only recently, he is a very strong young man. He scored an amazing last minute try v Western Force this year. He is also playing really well for Canterbury at NPC level.

@Tim That is provided they don't have to meet them in Canberra. I am not righting off the Brumbies.
-
@Tim Levi Aumua named, that means he is locked in to represent the Abs at some stage, thought he wouldn't be considered due to playing for MP. Glad he has been chosen, he is a big power centre.
-
Zarn Sullivan, Ruben Love and Cortiz Ratima not included these guys are the future, rather them than some of the guys going offshore.
-
@Chris That game in Fiji was always going to be either a banana skin or a cricket score for us, unfortunately the former. We still hopefully have a few players yet to come back who will make an impact.
-
@Winger I think the Aussie teams will be stronger this year anyway. Really don't like the idea of dumming down our comp to make the Aussies look good. It is not like they don't already rely on a significant amount of our coaching and players to prop up their comp.
-
@nostrildamus Jordie came off looking a little off, I would say he might be played sparingly against the Rebels.
-
No way, it is not like the other franchises don't already have at least five Kiwis per team and a number of Kiwi coaches. As it is the Aussie teams are getting a lot of their overseas talent back for 2024. I am not particularly fond of this Super Rugby arrangement with Oz as it is, it is only allowing them to improve. I would much prefer South Africa involved as well as Japan and Argentina.
