Chiefs vs Wales, June 14

Any reason why we can't award Taleni Seu... an AB JERSEY ??...and those AB halfbacks better watchout for Weber - he was on fire tonight..

...brilliantly led by Beaver tonight , Pulu and James Lowe awesome on attack, great team effort all round - impressive stuff...comprehensive win and with very little possession to boot...next victim please..

Anyone following the NRL should be familiar with the name Marika Koroibete...considered one of the fastest players in the NRL and finished last season as the clubs highest try scorer with 16 tries.

He has signed a contract with the Melbourne Rebels for the 2017 season...

...here's a You tube montage for a taste of what the flying Fijian is capable of...i can see him on the wing at the next RWC for the Wallabies as he has already qualified under the 4-year residency rule...

• SBW set to sign for......
  • R Ruthless

...the Chiefs didn't need him when they won their last Super Rugby title so no great loss there...the bigger question is will he be abandoning Counties NPC rugby for those Auckland metrosexuals...that would be unforgivable...

  • England to whitewash Australia
  • R Ruthless

Given the dominance of southern hemisphere rugby, England's odds of winning any games are slim to none....just watch the Warratahs and Brumbies games last week and you'll see the Aussies are on fire...

  • Waratahs v Chiefs
  • R Ruthless

Yea not all Cantabs are anti Chiefs. Look for example at how the most one eyed Cantab of recent years Steve Hansen has just chosen the Chiefs backline for the ABs...indicating he's a big fan of that positive attacking brand of rugby the Chiefs produce.

And what better wingers than Savea and Naholo to put the finishing touches to some of that mooloo magic conjured up by Cruden and Ngatai...

Of course Dave Rennie needs to be credited with turning the Chiefs into one of the greatest teams in world rugby...benefiting the ABs in the process and a great pity we are going to lose one of NZ's most awesome coaches next year by the sounds of it.

  • Waratahs v Chiefs
  • R Ruthless

Great attacking and defensive game by the Tahs at home...The Chiefs have only beaten them at home a couple of times so the result is not all that surprising given the history between these two teams.

Especially considering how many Warratahs were playing desperately to retain Wallaby jerseys for the England test next month.

Looking at the table the Chiefs are still leading the competition so a loss is not by any means the end of the world. Crusaders will probably leapfrog them on the table tonight though..

  • Samoa v Tonga rugby league

Loved the Tongan supporter's sign that read, "Die for Tonga"...reminiscent of a famous speech by the Turkish military leader Ataturk at Gallipoli who said "I am not ordering you to attack, I am ordering you to die..."...no mincing of words there..

I would've loved to have seen Anthony Milford play for Samoa as he is one of the best players in the whole of the NRL competition IMHO..., he is O for Awesome...so much PI talent making rugby and league great these days...

I also would've liked to see Konrad Hurrel play for Tonga and Radarada and Jarryd Hayne playing for Fiji...but to quote Jagger, "You can't always get what you want"
