Just read legitimate news jegga. Scoff all you like about the gossip articles surrounding it but journalists are proud and passionate about what they do and it pisses me off endlessly to keep hearing the beat up. You're just the one that copped it so sorry

Ummmm. I hear plenty of whinging from you jegga but not a lot of bright ideas. Nice graphs but so what ? Less people buy newspapers. We already knew that. Less people reading them, less people advertising, less money for journalism.

Not an odd rant. I'm sick of hearing digital warriors whinge endlessly about "MSM".

Your comments on a random website aren't news. Theyre not fact. They're just comments. Equal in relevance to mine. Just blah blah for people who have something to say and no mandate, no facts, no legitimate website to waffle on. Just opinion .... irrelevant, anonymous people waffling on. Like me haha

Blah blah bloody blah. So read a fucking newspaper ! Support NZ journalism. You don't hear complaints about content, journalism, typos within newspapers huh ? The content is less but higher "quality". But oh no. The digital warriors demand news as it unfolds. Whatever that news is. For free and with no advertising. You get what you deserve. And pay for.
It's not all about you. There's another 4.5m people to consider. You're only interested in what you're interested in anyway. Plenty of other websites can accomodate you I'm sure. Stuff appeals to the masses and lots of people like the bs.
Stuff is the biggest local news website in NZ. The biggest are freaking FACEBOOK and GOOGLE.
Advertising has ALWAYS paid for journalism. Print is expensive. Print is real. Digital not so much. SO unless you're a massive advertiser, deal with it. MORONS !

There's no way anyone can put a good spin on this. However I don't believe she can be this simple/naive/greedy/irresponsible. Surely not.

She's had massive negative publicity and I can't think she's oblivious to this. There's a stability issue here I am sure. Depression, anxiety, something. For gods sake where are Jonah's friends and supporters to help this woman ?

My take on all this, is that she clearly has issues beyond no self awareness. It's quite likely she's suffering and this is her way of dealing with that. If so, I hope she has good friends around her who will help and offer good advice (which hasn't seemed to have happened yet)

Yeah I've heard the DW rumour too. But then considering NR announced the CEO a month after he had a NR email address its not surprising no announcement. Guess they're wanting it to be an U dramatic announcement. Like Harris' departure.
I struggle to understand the smaller unions though and why they're suspicious of puta town coaches. Should we be wanting the BEST coach available with the best plan ? Not just looking at local cos it makes us feel good ....until they do no good. Good luck DW though. Maybe 2nd time round will be better
