Premiership rugby clubs vow to join forces to tackle losses

England’s leading rugby clubs have reacted to losses by vowing to act together to control costs and reduce wage inflation with the aim of making the Premiership sustainable

Only one club turned a profit. Another spent more in wages than their turnover.

They're bleeding talent out of our game, and they don't even make money.

As a Crusaders fan, I’d love to see Mo’unga playing well for the All Blacks. Our players are always better than the other lot.

But there are what, 13 or 14 tests this season? Over that time, all of BB, DMac and Mo’unga are all going to get plenty of minutes. We need all of them confident and ready to go as starters or run ons to be successful over the next couple of years.

With Cruden and Sopoaga both leaving, we lack depth and 1st 5 and need to build it for the WC. There’s a big step down after from 3rd to 4th choice. I hope we don’t have to go there.
