Good point, it's only Josh Honeck at tighthead. I'm glad they've left Halanukunuku on the bench. He's a better scrummager I reckon

I'm also reasonably happy with Fonotia starting, he's been excellent this year.

Maybe they need to make it a rule that you can only jump straight up. players would be better able to judge if they will get under the ball in time to jump straight up to catch and return straight down also means less likely for mid air collisions. basically becomes a race to the spot to jump and if the ball is given enough hang time both players will be jumping straight up and barely have a chance of taking the other out in some horror fashion

Elliot Dixon would be intense but he does need to make the team first

Liam Squire has re-signed for the 2017 season with the Highlanders. Great to lock him up for another season, in other news Brendon Edmonds is out for the remained of the super season after his injury on the weekend.

except they weren't offering him a farm, it was the Taranaki Union helping facilitate him getting a diary farm. Nobody was offering to pay his contract and give him a farm also

As Carl had some very serious family issues he felt he needed to pay for him leaving and staying overseas for the money was the right choice. I am sure he would of loved to win a RWC but there are more important things in life.

It's Hammerlander time
