@game_film This is a dead rubber and NZ could name 3 separate teams that would all beat the Wallabies. Wallabies are paying $21. I would be benching my entire starting 15.

@ACT-Crusader Yeah Papali'i got to the ball carrier but then brought him down. As long as it's still a maul he can't tackle him. I'm 80% sure that's the rule and we saw that exact thing penalised in SR this year.

It's fucking dumb though.

The maul sack to Papali'i was surely a collapse, no? I hate mauls and think he should be well within his rights to tackle the player in possession. Notwithstanding, my understanding is that he can't take it down even if he came through legally no?

@Mattasaurus Blues were doing it all night last night and all the refs seem to be very lenient about rolling away in general this year. Prudent tactic.

@Steve just in terms of Aus domestically- can't keep playing in SR. Only interest we've had in the last 8 odd years was the local Covid comp.

Maybe it was just covid but still worth a go given the abject failure of SR pacific.
