Sloppy game from the Boks - kind of expected that in a way... I think for someone like Marco van Staden the door is slowly closing. Kwagga is impact not starter but we know why he was started. Mostert was understandably rusty and Bongi's throwing wasn't great. Bar that a few average moments from Pollard, Jordan - et al really. It's a game to forget as we focus on England.

@KiwiMurph what about your hooker? He not a captain?
-
Just pass a normal.pass
-
@Machpants yeah got you
-
From a neutral (saffa) perspective. This is a kak game. Just lacks fizz

I think down here in SAFFA land - bar being pretty happy - most of us are also pretty realistic and Rassie said as much post match. ABs have done far greater things in our history - we're still far behind on balance. And we are also fully aware that we've won a lot of tight games that could have gone the other way - then we'd have different conversations.
Let's see where this team ends up - and then we can really shout. For now, we celebrate the status quo with hope to see a full 80 minute performance ... because we've not seen it, yet.

@nostrildamus hahaha 10/10 comment there dude.

Bok team is out. here we go.

@Canes4life more than a few say 10% of supporters are planks. Still leaves us with a few million dickheads with access to social media...and therein lies the problem
Have a great one!
-
@Canes4life we don't need any reminder of who the ABs are mate. Even as our greatest rivals you've had the wood over us for most part. Little purple patch here for us sure .. but we know any game is always 50/50.
And that makes it great. Enjoy the occasion this weekend. Should be epic

I don't have any right to comment on the NZ game... however I can say this:
- picking foreign-based players strengthens the Boks
- it allows our players to experience new competitions and cultures
- they bring back learnings from around the world
- it gives younger players a chance in RSA
- overall it's win-win
That's all
Best wishes

Just an apology from SA Rugby over the timing issue with flyover etc.
Best wishes

@KiwiMurph howzit and thanks for the welcome. been here a long time actually just had to re-register at some stage and then actually comment a bit - always enjoyed this forum. I agree with your comment - will be great to see those 9s go at it!
-
Howzit gents. I was at the game on Saturday and it was every bit as physical as you can imagine. Heard the collisions - a top notch heavy-weight encounter that did justice to our sport. Anyway that being said I think this week in Cape Town could be very interesting. I suspect (from Rassie comments) that we will see some backline tweaks. I will not be surprised to see Grant Williams start at 9 with Lukhanyo Am coming in at 12. With Arendse out Canan Moodie most likely to fill that spot. Siya is out so will be interesting to see what happens there. And then #10 is going to be quite the debate. Solid money says Sasha continues but some of Rassie's comments makes me think he could do something weird there... I prefer he sticks with Sasha but then I am not the Bok coach Look forward to another epic clash.
