My brother in law has scheduled a party for his birthday on saturday kicking off at 7:30.
He doesn't have sky.
I got a severe frowning from the mrs when I suggested we perhaps skip it.
Did I mention he doesn't have sky?FFs.
What a turd.
I'm sure you won't be alone if you slink off to another room and watch a stream on SkyGo (if SkyGo actually goes).
Failing that drop her off and go to the pub.His friends are like him so I will probably be alone.
Some being such a wimp and your wife needs to pull the stick out of her ass.
It is a birthday party.. big woopdy fucking doo. -
It's amazing that you can abuse an appointed official by calling them a liar and then say it is sexist when you get punished for it. I'm no tennis expert so I can't speak to the coaching and racquet violations and whether they are consistently enforced. Sexism comes down to just being disrespectful to women so if you are going to throw those terms around, you should make sure you treat other people properly.
I can. I am a qualified Tennis referee.
Coaching at lower levels is always a warning. Always. At ATP and WTA tournaments, they sometimes are, sometimes not. Could go either way. In this case the coach admitted it so.....
Raquet breaking is always a violation, umpires don't even have discretion with it.
Personal abuse is more discretionary, but is usually a violation. Guys get waaay more violations, but they usually calm down after the first or second. She just kept going at it.Men have lost points and games before. McEnroe even forfeited a match at a grand slam tournament,.
Williams is a disgrace.

Bouquet for Trent Boult , every year he tries to play at least one game for his club. Couple of years ago he played against Tauranga Boys College, last year he scored a century against Te Puke and this year played against Taupo.
I cant think of many elite rugby or cricket players who still regurly play club games every year. -
I don't see the issue with any of this. Falou said what he thinks, Weber said what he thinks. Both are right to do so. I would draw the line at either getting punished of silenced. And especially sponsors withdrawing. But as it stands currently... meh

I think people are underestimating the difficulties of batting on that pitch yesterday. I would back Kane and Taylor to read the pitch and conditions and set targets.
My gut feel is that they think the pitch is hard to play your shots early on.
Setting a target of 250 in a CWC semi final with a overcast sky, and rain around.... not bad.
I also dont rate the Indian batting line up as highly as others in those conditions. They have a LOT of attacking batsmen that can take you apart, but if the ball nips around just a bit , we could get those guys out. I would bet that if we get Kholi and Sharma out cheaply, we are heavy favourites. Who else do they have that lineup that would have the patience and technique of Kane and Taylor. Obviously Rahul, but he is hit and miss and could actually be too cautious and create scoreboard pressure.
If it stays cloudy I reckon it is a 50/50 prospect , if it is a bit sunny.. def adv the Indians.Interesting quirk, apart from 4 overs, both teams will be batting in morning conditions.

Soooooo over the naysayers and doomdayers of NZ rugby.
We got soundly beaten last night, due to some ill discipline. The thing about ill discipline is that can become a habit.. but like all habits it can be broken.
For the last few decades any NZ rugby fan with any sort of brain knows that during world cup years, we are repeatedly told that the world cup is all that matters, and that is mostly correct, I see enough talent an experience in this AB team to not be concerned. I am exactly the same amount of nervous about the WC as I would be we had won easily last night.
SA are a danger, but SA have always been a danger, but if, and it likely we will as we have better players, we beat them in the opening game, we are destined for a QF against Scotland, and that is a good QF to have. If we win that, and it likely we will as we have better players, then we are TWO games from world champions, and anyone who thinks this AB team isnt capable and indeed likely to beat any other side, is kidding themselves.
I have actually seen some really good signs over the last couple of weeks, just more crap, but I am confident the crap will be eliminated. -

@MN5 Southee I hope not. He just doesn't offer what Henry and Ferg do. He's the back up if they go tits up.
Nicholls I hope so. Munro has great hand/eye but is the epitome of flat track bully. Nicholls is not world class but he's more reliable, less exposed to brain farts and we need someone else the stroke makers can play around.
I think Henry is a flat track bully equivalent of a bowler. He has no chance of running through a decent batting line up. Southee has that ability and has proven it.

I dont rate Stead as a coach/selector and think the Black Caps could be heading for some dark times.
Hesson made some big selection calls and most of them turned out to be quite inspired. Stead seems to have no clue. But I actually really like our chances of rolling Aus. As the AB's have discovered knockout round are a different kettle.
I predict a NZ England finalI am sure that would get good odds.

@Crazy-Horse said in AB squad next RWC (2023)?:
@taniwharugby you need to delete that link! Just read the first page and it makes it look like @Baron-Silas-Greenback knows what he's talking about. He predicted Savea being a bolter and when challenged about three opensides he said Savea transcends positions. Something along the lines of Ardie's position is 'the Savea'.
You will get used to it. I am always pulling that sort of Nostradamus shit.
Cricket oracle is my actual specialty though, rugby soothsaying is more a hobby. -
