@Canes4life I never saw many Ta$man games, did Taumoefolau look anything like this for them? Because he's put up such big numbers but it feels weird to consider picking him over all the other outside back options that I do know.
-
Also makes me more interested in just loading up on players in MP games as they've had games with 89 and 92 points so far.
-
@HugeCarrot2 yeah looks like most of the points are scored from offence, whereas big defenders dont earn as well.
-
currently i have about 20m of left over budget...a lot of the expensive players not firing or bye weeks.....the budget was fucked
-
It's pretty common they rate them by name value rather than fantasy value. The one obvious exception is Suaalii who I thought they'd price far higher than 5.5 on name value. If he keeps playing fullback he seems a must pick.
-
I've definitely watched more games though so it's working there. Last time I played fantasy super rugby was 2009, Vodafone had a competition, think I came 2nd or 3rd after blowing it in the semi finals not picking Morne Steyn when kickers got big points.
-
I see FR still have Tupaea showing as a bench player
-
Yep, I am not sure how accurate any of this is.
-
I'm struggling to find good midfield options this week with Suaalii out, other than the Chiefs players?
-
I see Lalakai Foketi is unavailable for fantasy, but on the team list as starting against the Drua, and Quinn Tupaea is still listed as on the bench.

Yeah and it's annoying that big Jim is classed as an outside back. He'd be in my side if he was in the midfield. Telea'a could be an option for the Landers. You could also pick a Force player as the Reds don't have Paisami.

yeah I swapped Paisami for Stewart
-
My hardest selection this week is tossing up whether to drop Savea for Lakai. I think Lakai will play a huge role for the Canes against the Blues but I also feel Savea will be wanting to play a big game for Moana as it's their first on home turf.
-
@Canes4life I have Savea flanked by 2 Aussies

Same. My gut is to keep Savea but I'm torn.
-
@Canes4life Savea just feels like a banker because you know he is always going to have several carries and will play the 80. McReight the same because he is a defensive behemoth.

This'll probably be the round where he'll turn back the clock and someone will pick him for double points captain and end up with 500 points from one player.
Cause I dumped him.
-
@Canes4life I think he'd be picked by over half the teams if he were listed in midfield. They did have a Brumbies loose forward listed as a prop but moved him after week 1 and people had him auto replaced with Slipper.
-
For loose forwards I'm going Mcreight and Tizzano based on stats, plus one of Savea or Charlie Cale. I tried to find guys likely to play 80 minutes as got screwed week 1 with Iose subbed early second half.

Only saw a couple but he looked good to me.
Haven't picked him though ... maybe I should.
