BBBR and Bird are the pick of the Chiefs so far. Cruden's having a good game though, aside from that kick that went out on the full.

I would add Harris to that list.
-

Same as he did in the world cup - back up number 7 on the bench to Hoopah, with Pocock at 8.

I actually think there are better 7s in Aussie than McMahon, yeah he is a beast ball in hand - but he is a bit invisible in the down and dirty rucks. Too concerned with maintaining his GQ good looks and not getting any shiners.

I think he's been the best of the Oz 7s this year ... in all facets of play, maybe you'd appreciate him more if someone squashed his head down Hooper style. ;)
-

Rolling forward after you have been tackled for an extra metre and go forward has become a standard play this season. Don't really remember it as a feature last year.

-
Chiefs giving the rabble every chance to make a game of this early in the second half by continually turning the ball over.

Aussie Mike says yes please I'll have some of that generosity. -

Aaarrrrrgh that inside channel AGIAN,,,

-

Chiefs lower themselves to the level of the opposition, add to that some horrible discipline and conceding penalty after penalty and the shit team is in for their first try

-
I suspect that refs have been instructed to give benefit of doubt to the attacking team. They are quite lax on " not held" -

what was that, going down the short side where there's a 2 on 5 and one of the 2 is the smalles man on the field? stupid

I will admit that I am biased against him as I would like to see Jordie Reid for the Rebels in the number 7 shirt. I am a big Reid fan and believe he would be the wider training group for the ABs if he was a New Zealander. That said given how good McMahon is I can see why he is picked ahead of Reid.

Liam Gill has also been decent so between the incredible number of strong number 7s in Australia I reckon you are a making a big call in saying McMahon is the best, but to each his own.
-

fucking stupid idiots, what happened to the Chiefs? Since min 35 they have sucked

-

Good maul defence by the Rebels there.

The chorus calling for McKenzie to be in black seems to have quietened.
-

good chiefs scrum...

-

try...TMO

Great scrum by the Chiefs. Monstering them.

-

that is too many phases back isnt it?

He was out though...
-

Chiefs tactic of not forming rucks and thus no offsides has worked out well so far

Best this season.

I doubt Reid would be in an AB wider training group though. He's a bit of a cult favourite with his dreads and robust style play though.
-
2 phases?

I agree, I thought it was 2 phases
-
Right call, but I'm sure that's outside the way it's meant to be used? There were at least two rucks? So WTF's a 'phase'?
-

Rebels scrum getting decimated.

It certainly removes options for them putting them on the back foot.
-

seems refs/TMOs decide which rules they want to enforce when using the TMO...granted it was the right call, buuuuutttt......

-

Reid Watch - 1 line out win.

-

Who is this halfback.

-

what was that, Rebels wheeling the scrum clearly

-

this game has gone off the boil, BIG TIME

-

Yep, we need someone to pull Reid's dreads to kick something off.

-
This half was brought to you by Scrappy Doo.
-

Or the Chiefs could start playing some decent rugby again.

-

The Chiefs seemed like they gave up on this game once they hit a comfortable lead and are just looking forward to next week.

-

Reid watch 1 lineout win - 1 penalty win

-
Yep, this game has gone to sleep, and the Warriors are shithouse on the other channel. -

it's a race to the bottom regarding the quality of play of either team now

-

they may as well give it up now...plus I have the Chiefs 8-16

-

ha, now the Chiefs go for a penalty!
