@Number-10 And Tim Farrell is back, so Kereru-Symes can finally play at hooker (16) again!
-
It's that time of the season where I start to wonder which version of Chase Tiatia will show up...
-
@Donsteppa We're asking ourselves that question every time he's on the team sheet.

Definitely flashback territory. These days I get to wonder once a season instead of every game

BoP are without their speedsters on the wing (McGarvey-Black and Carter) who have been outstanding so far.
-
BOP certainly make use of the NZ sevens players.

He has broken his rocks and diamonds trend while at the Magpies, he's just rocks.

I'm not being lulled into a false sense of security, he still has the 'one game a season' risk!

Hopefully this is it - he needs to pay us back for the game he had for you lot against us two years ago.
But even if he fires Grigg will just run too far with the ball and turn it over anyway.

Chase "The Bath" Tiatia - he can run hot and cold in the same game all you could do is hope he gets the ratios right so you end up with something pleasantly warm...

Highlanders bias showing perhaps, but feels rough for Fakatava, who has been very good from what I have seen, to be dropped straight back to the bench on Weber's arrival?
-
Bump.. there’s a lot of match threads this weekend
This kicks off in 10mins
-
Cashmore ruled out. Hawera starting at 10. Tanimo starting at fullback. Tamiro Armstrong coming onto the bench in 23.
-
Hmmm. AB's don't front this morning, and now backline injuries on top of injuries. One of those days at this rate...
-
BOP have recovered well after a poor start
-
Talk about a long time to come up with YC that should have just needed one view
-
@Steven-Harris I may be one-eyed, but that drop from Ili wasn't sudden either. I hope they check it again, because that might meet the red-card treshold.
-
What a joke
-
I despair how we judge these tackles now. That's very different from deliberate foul play.
-
Red under the framework but boy I totally agree with Ken , this space needs some work and in a hurry
-
@Steven-Harris the powers of the game (we are not one currently) dont see any issues it seems....
-
Chase Tiatia should be a traffic monitor
-
Take the 3 ,and then go back
-
Ref gave Hawkes every chance
-
Go the BAY! See you next season Hawke's
-
Hb have themselves to blame there. Stupid grubber at the end. Advantage or not just keep hammering
-
@Duluth said in Hawke's Bay v Bay of Plenty:

Yes, some hometown officiating there. HB were offside when BOP was camped in the 22 m but no calls.
-
We played a lot better with 14 than 15
-
Congrats to the Steamers, a deserved win. The cards were fully deserved, but if you can't score with a man more on the field (for a time, 2), then you don't deserve the win.
Not good seeing Godfrey getting injured. It looked bad.
The refs by the way missed a dangerous tip tackle in which Sapsford landed on his neck/head near the end of the game.
-
Not a fan of scheduling this match for the same day the All Blacks only front for 40 minutes. Not good for blood pressure...

Deserved win to the Bay, that’s how we roll
-
The Bay are not a bad bloody team are they? I was there when they beat the Naki a few weeks ago, and thought then they look a team that is hard to put away.
-
@Duluth can you do me a favour and remove the appropriate Bay from the thread title
-
Well this has been the worst sporting day ever for this ABs, Warriors, and Magpies fan.
TBH, I don't really care about the other two in comparison to this one as they both get another chance.
The Aussie coach can fuck off and take the old coach's Wellington mates with him.

Suuuuuuuck it
No other result means anything p
