Crusaders v Blues

Really nice by Ennor and Havili. Good try.
-
Was there a knock on in the lead up? Another shite exit from Barrett.

Terrific try and fair yellow - looked like a knock on from the Crusaders, I assume they checked it.
I don’t think they did. The replay of the tackle showed a clear knock on by the next guy. Bizarre officiating
-
What is Meg Ryan blabbering about in commentary? Leon shouldn't be pulling his hair out, this is systemic. He's the coach. He's at fault.

Sotutu has been highly underwhelming.
Mo'unga ran straight through him
they have had zero ball to be fair to Sotutu.... but Choat seems to be a lot more prevalent
-
Blues attack is so one dimensional. Try came off another poor exit from Barrett.

It seemed so obvious both in real time and in the replay that they must have checked it, unless they were too preoccupied by the late hit. Shocking officiating if they didn't.
-
Perhaps put Barrett at 15 and Zarn at 10???
-
Gee, Telea's a busy player. Low error-rate too.
-
Replay confirms it was a clear knock on. Terrible for everyone to miss that.
-
-
Paps upgraded to Red.
-
-
Blues are not using dummy runners, wrap arounds, any variety really.

Halangahu bringing to coaching what he did playing?
-
Razor having second thoughts about appointing Leon as an assistant coach?
-
Eklund on..... that will fix the lineout.....
-
@His-Bobness Not a lot of creativity with the back moves is there?

Well, he won't be looking after the kicking department...

Can't make it less effective ...

I read Leon the other day say that he was surprised at the poor discipline last week because it's not usually bad.
Was he asleep during the Chiefs and Brumbies games when Blues went down to 13 men?

That is exactly why I don’t want Clarke to be on the wing for the ABs. Fucks up an attacking kick and then drops the ball. Makes far too many mistakes.
-
Holy shit, Barrett actually ran it. Then my stream timed out.

Yep i'm a Clarke fan but you can't pick him

Clarke fucked it up.

He's far too error prone.
-
BB showed that if he runs the fucking ball it actually creates options
-
@KiwiMurph Think he picked up an injury early on.
-
Blues need to fire some shots, or this game is going to fizz out…
-
@Tim Standing too deep, kicking too much, kicking badly. The only positive the kick-offs to Clarke. It’s patently obvious the kicking game isn’t working. That they can’t seem to see that is a real worry.
-
Great hit by Grace there.

That's the coaching master plan. Stand still most of the game shovelling ball to your outsides, or aimlessly kick. Then run it while the opposition are stunned.
-
The blues need to learn from the Saders - they should just launch themselves at defenders when cleaning, the ref clearly doesn’t give a shit about whether they remain on their feet.
-
Goodhue takes good options despite having the pace of a front rower.
-
Blues have actually done okay to stay in this game. Crusaders haven't scored yet against 14 and have let them off the hook.
-
Heem got held up to end the Eden Park game vs Crusaders
Heem first touch - held up.
-
That maul just about sums up the Blues tonight.
-
What was that Christie? An utter waste of advantage.
-
.......and the Eklund curse strikes again
