Funnily enough I feel like this is my best tipping performance this season. I feel like I have improvement in me and to be honest I cannot see myself being in a worse position this season.
That being said, I'll conduct my review today, identify my work-ons. A week is a long time in tipping and I feel I will be much better this week.
But how fat are you?

The results are in and the teams are assigned - https://www.thesilverfern.com/tipping/ - and the tipping form for this current weekend is live.
I kept people in the same team as last season where possible and then filled up the teams so that every team has 6 players. The top 5 players score each week so 6 is the ideal number for each team. Check the leaderboard to see which team you are in.
Early leaders are @Crucial in 1st and @mikedogz in 2nd from the reigning champion Counties Waikato team who retain 5 of their winning squad and have added Valley legend @BartMan to the roster. Langakali is 3rd and @sportboy 4th, the only person to pick all 6 results correctly (the draw counted as zero for everyone). Cellar dwellers are newcomer @OleOleOle and @Tim. Team wins for Wairarapa Bush, Counties Waikato, Northland and Harbour-Auckland.
Notable missing tipsters are @Hooroo @Corkscrew @hydro11 @Cactus-Jack @FarNthHayden
There is a Facebook group for Tipping as well where I post this update and tipping reminders - https://www.facebook.com/groups/590271681147113
Not on the “notable missing tipsters” list but also not anywhere else by the looks…

@JK Keep tipping as there are bound to be a number fall by the wayside sooner or later so you will soon be back into a team.
Another regular also missing is @Smudge. Missing a round you get the default of five less than the lowest for the week so all is not lost. Sadly the lowest for this week was a pretty miserable 21!

Sorry JK, that list was off the top of my head - you are notable as well and sorry if your submission must have got lost - I always check for the "your tips are in" message and you have to scroll back up to the top of a long screen to find it. As Higgins says, put some tips in for week 2 as in the past we have had many who tip week 1 and are never seen again.

Simply don't have time at the moment. Thanks for thinking of me. And yes I know it's 5 minutes every week, but...
(plus I'm still sulking after being in Pukekohe to watch my Otago team completely butcher a win last week)

We're live at https://www.thesilverfern.com/tipping/ and the tipping form for next week is ready.
Best of the weekend was Corkscrew with a massive 59 to make up for missing Week 1 and into the top 20 already. 7/7 picked when not many went against Ta$man - also 7/7 for Trooa who rises from 42 to position 7. Leading overall is TR after the 2nd best score of 57 and with J77 bagging 54 and up to 3rd, a good week for Northland who have the highest team score so far. Crucial is down to 2nd with Antipodean and Langakali completing the top 5.
I slotted in the newcomers Corkscrew, FarNthHayden & BorderJB into teams to replace the 5 absentees from Week 1.
Northland is the only team with 2/2 wins, Harbour-Auckland still unbeaten after a draw with South Island. 2nd place is Counties-Waikato although there are 4 teams on 6 points with the order decided by points scored.

When it comes to
tippingmost things; I'm the useless fat kid who can't do anything right, but always turns up to training even in the worst weather, tries his hardest, is eager to please, knows all the drills but can't complete any and, when out of pity, one time when they're 3 kids short the coach gives a run to.Then he trips over his own feet running onto the field and breaks his ankle.
He doesn't care cause it's the only time his jersey's ever been dirty and he can say for the rest of his life how a busted ankle shattered a promising career

Lovely piece of prose, but what's the busted ankle in this metaphor?

Results are in - https://www.thesilverfern.com/tipping/
Tough week for all with nobody getting to 40 points and nobody picking more than 4 of the 7 results and a few tipsters were saved from complete disaster with maximums for the final 2 games.
Higgins and Paj shared the top score of 39 resulting in a first win for Hawke's Bay and a first defeat for an under-strength Northland. 37 for Justin77, Dice & Triple T means that Justin77 is the new leader by 8 from Antipodean with Higgins up to 3rd level with Langakali. Season low score for Bartman with just 9 points picking Hawke's Bay to win for his only correct result.
With 2 teams picking up their first win and the 2 undefeated teams losing, the ladder has closed right up. Wairarapa Bush and BOP lead on 10 points but the 3 teams in last place are only 4 points behind.
The top 32 scores from next weekend go into the first round of the Cup.
Quite a few missing tippers last weekend - hall of shame is @mikedogz @KiwiMurph @ARHS @Canes4life @BorderJB @Mattasaurus Bridgey Mackenzie @Kiwiwomble
