Blues MOTM v Highlanders

Black is playing so calm, and goalkicking is top drawer.
He and Perofeta are just letting the others create mayhem wider. It's great - they don't stand out as super flashy, but getting the job done clinically. Very Leon MacDonald-like

Exits, one of the Blues worst areas in the pre-McDonald era, are so much better now. Plummer is helping there too.

One of my votes went to Plummer, he's looking comfortable at 12.
The biggest improvement this year is his error rate has really dropped. If he can keep this form up he'll keep the spot when TJ is fit
He looking good isn't he, the other thing I like about him we all talk about 2 playmakers, with Plaummer there you got 3, helps Black roam a bit I think

I like how Black and Plummer are splitting some of the responsibilities. For instance most of the cross field kicks came from Plummer.
I want to see genuine 2nd 5/8ths return to the game. Plummer at the Blues and Havili at the Crusaders might signal a change in tactics of NZ teams
The second playmaker at fullback is useful but I think it's easy to get caught out on defence when there's a quick turnover
