NFL 2015

And somehow the Broncos end up top seeds and clinch homefield advantage. Which is nice, we get to go 1-and-done at home i guess....

-

Regular season is done, and it's firing time.

Tomsula at the Niners = goooorne

Pettine at the Browns = goooorne (as well as the GM).

A few more look like the will be out by the end of the week
-

Thank Christ!!!! :good: :greeting:

Was a tad worried the owners would stick with him after the win today. Tomsula should have never been a head coach, he was way out of his depth through out the season and it is still confusing why they went with him for their internal hiring instead of Vic Fangio. Wonder if they will take the Stanford route again and interview David Shaw.... the GM also has to go too as he has sucked at drafting talent.

Browns are just do their traditional end of season thing so meh.
-
Jed York should give himself an uppercut for pushing Harbaugh out

You're missing the point:

HOW WILL THIS AFFECT JARRYD HAYNEPLANE????!!!!!
-

Expect some more coaching changes in the next few days/weeks (e.g. Coughlin, Pagano).

I'd like to see the Panthers win through but Seattle will be tough in the NFC. Can the Bengals finally win a playoff game? The Steelers are the darkhorse in the AFC.
-

He's goooonnnneee. New head coach, if they get a decent one, will clean house of any project players regardless who it is.

Coughlin has retired and Pagano just got a contract extension with the Colts.
-

lol, congrats on winning your division vikings, you get a match against the seahawks..

they were better off losing and having an away game against the redskins
-

As Seattle beat the Cards, a Pack win would have meant the Vikings would play Green Bay again, not the Redskins. That's the quirk of the NFL seedings and tie breakers. I know what you mean though as the Redskins were only the best in a woeful NFC East.

So we have the following wildcard games:

AFC

Kansas City (5) at Houston (4)

Pittsburgh (6) at Cincinnati (3)

NFC

Seattle (6) at Minnesota (3)

Green Bay (5) at Washington (4)
-

Houston, Pittsburgh, Seattle, Green Bay are my picks.

KC to beat Houston. The Chiefs are the hottest team in the NFL - a 10-game winning streak.
-

7 coaching vacancies by last count. I saw on ESPN that on average one quarter of the 32 NFL coaches have been replaced in each of the last 4 years.

-

KC all over Houston right now. I've only watched a couple of minutes but they look more dominant than the 13-0 scoreline would suggest.

-

I liked Hoyer as QB during the regular season but this the worst playoff performance since....well, Ryan Lindley last year. 3 interceptions in the first half. Can see the loser of Manziel/RG3 to Dallas signing with Houston as their secondary prize.

-

This was not a surprise. You don't go on a 10-0 run without having a decent football team

The kid showed glimpses of his potential but he can't stop partying and fucking up. Anyone who signs him might need to insist on him having a team appointed minder/s as part of the contract
-

and the bengals clawing their way back, after being down 0-15..

now lead 16-15

bengals now get a pick, and then runs off the field lol
-

and now it looks like hill fumbled.. lol what a game.. no big ben though..

-

Mimic, as a Steelers fan, do they have a chance for a kick or something to win?

-

big ben is coming back on.. he was off injured..

still 1:23 left in the game.. steelers starting their drive from their own 9 yard line
-

heaps of time for big ben to get them in field goal range.. their kickers range is about 50 yards..

-

steelers now 4th and 3.. still another 30 yards away from fg range

-

they get the first down, and use their last time out..

14 yards away from fg range..

but keep in mind that its raining..
-

the bengals give away a flag.. and now the steelers are in field goal range.. wow

didn't even need to make the hit as it already went past brown
-

bengals give away another penalty before a snap was made.. this is just stupid

-

steelers go up 18-16, with a 35 yard field goal..

14 secs left
-

Bengals bungle. Again. They can't blame that one on Andy though.

-

Chiefs @ Patriots

Steelers @ Broncos

Chiefs will have a great chance at tipping over the Pats..

With the injuries to the Steelers, you wonder if they can get thru a full game against a well rested Broncos who will have Peyton..
-

Justice :)

Appreciate the info Mimic
-

That play by Vontaze Burfict has to be the dumbest thing I've ever seen in sport. So needless, so costly. What a fucking idiot.

Another example of a franchise cloaked in failure. I knew they would fark it up with less than a minute to play.

Meanwhile, Alex Smith is on a redemption drive of his own in leading the KCC to a big win over Texas. The AFC is wide open this season
-

And it just gets weirder, with Minnesota missing a field goal from 30 yards which would have clinched the game against Seattle.

Instead the Seahawks go through to face Carolina.
-

Seattle-Carolina will be a great game to watch. I see the winner of this game going to the Super Bowl.

-

I fucking forgot the College championship game as today. Alabama have just run in a kick-off return to lead by 11 with 7 and a half to go

-
Exciting game with the tide just too good in the end. Clemson can hold their heads high though
-
I checked into hotel and went to club lounge looking for Oz/India cricket and there were two Americans watching. I watched last 1/4. 'Twas good. I enjoyed it.

Got the best part of the cricket once it finished too. -
I will say.

Ignorant hooroo wondered why they replayed last touch down as much as to me it was obvious he didn't get it down........

Then I clicked. -

Official - The Rams are moving back to LA. They are moving immediately and eventually will move into a super-stadium in Inglewood.

The Chargers have a one year option to decide if they want to move to LA and then if Chargers turn it down to remain in San Diego, The Raiders will have a one year option to move to LA. The Raiders and Chargers will both receive $100 million from the NFL if they remain in their home markets.
-

Sucks for those St Louis fans who got to watch the "greatest show on turf" but LA is the home of the Rams. Can see Raiders heading back to LA and San Diego getting a new stadium.
-

St Louis is a baseball city but they love their sports. The Rams haven't been relevant since Warner was QB. Neither have the Raiders in a long time either!
