Ten is down to Fox or Spencer.
polar opposites there, I'd probably play Spencer outside Tonu'u, with his long pass could open up so much.

I much prefer Spencer as a player but I'd select Fox. The dude was a winner. Spencer as a reserve back coming on in the 2nd half would be awesome.

@taniwharugby That big Auckland pack would generate a lot of good ball and turnovers, but they'd also be deadly at set piece and defensively, so putting the ball in into the corners would work very well too.

Didn't Rico also have a run with Auckland too?
Thought he was at Harbour and the Blues.
I have a vague memory of him in Auckland colours.

I think this trio looks ok
Michael Jones
Zinzan Brooke
Jerome KainoNo room for Carter?
Only if John Hart's picking the team for a RWC Semi Final.

Minimum effort put into that. Virtually of the top of my head so I'm sure I missed plenty there.

It's still an awesome team. Like Slammin' Sammy at 12. T Wright at fullback not so much.

One sentimental vote for Lindsay Harris as fullback from me. More seriously though, Cashmore would be hard to go past, but Mils should be considered, despite his abrupt departure. Piutau was very good in recent years.
Terry Wright and Matthew Ridge (underrated) bridged the gap between Harris and Cashmore?
Cashmore has the bonus of pissing off BOP fans by taking him away from their team
Honourable mention for Matt Carrington if any BOP fans are reading
Cashmore is bracketed with Greg Rowlands and Damon Kaui if you need a loan player
Not sure about that Carrington name, I vaguely remember talk of one being removed from the birth records in the Bay though...
