Scotland should have this Samoan team on toast, but again heat might be a factor and particularly for this NH side.

Especially with Rey Lee-lo out. He was playing well before the YC and his attack is a class above his teammates (except TNW)
-
Yeah but really Ire vs Sco should have been closer, so who know? You'd hope that the Scottish team will turn up this time, if nothing else.
-
@shark Scotland looked awful in their last game and are missing Watson. If Samoa are gonna cause a boilover, now is their time. The Scots look soft up front and I'd be pressuring the breakdown and looking to hurt them in contact (without getting reckless) if I were the Samoans.
I feel that this game will be a lot closer than people give it credit for (hopefully an upset win for Samoa).
-
I want Scotland to beat Samoa and Japan so, somehow, we avoid Ireland in the quarters.
-
This game needs to hurry up and start already.
So many permutations in this pool with both Scotland and Samoa effectively playing to stay in the hunt for a QF.
Has turned out to be the true pool-of-death so far. -

Bring on Ireland.
Iām predicting Scotland to win tonight but for Japan to beat Scotland.

Samoa could still go top of this pool. Hoping they pitch up properly and unleash some of the magic they're capable of. Would really spice things up!
A lot to play for.

@Billy-Webb I see what you're trying to do there...

Is that the collective wish coming from South Africa Billy? š

Scotland started well. Good tackles and then moving the ball very quickly
-
Samoan halfback has his hands all over the ball at the base of the ruck and itās not play on. I canāt stand that.
-
In 82 mins of rugby so far in this tournament, already 3 Samoans have knocked themselves out making tackles.
-
Samoa falling off a lot of tackles already.
-
3-0 Haggis
-
Nervous start from Samoa. Scotland looking good with ball in hand so far.
-
Great to see Lam back out there.
-
Ball security at the ruck is poor from Samoa. Scotland handing possession back to Samoa though.
-
Ominous for Samoa. Scottish defense forcing them to kick, but they have zero kick chase. Scotland just need to hold the ball!
-
Matavao has been poor so far and Pisi's distribution needs improvement.
-
Samoa really under the cosh so far
-
Hate the tunnel ball rucks
-
Iād bring on the Auckland halfback as soon as possible.
-
@ACT-Crusader *Ponsonby he didn't make the Auckand side.

-
Timmy?? Poor kick.
-
Samoan scrum looking bloomin impressive.
-
@ACT-Crusader Haha but yes, I think Samoa would have been better served starting him and having Matavao coming off the bench.
