Good to see the Nuggets win again, Torrey Craig get good minutes again, and looking like locking in the 3 seed.
These might be the best set of finals in years. Some very even teams, and with the travel and home court taken out, they could go any way.

@mariner4life no it fucken wasn't. OKC lead for most of the game and just couldn't get shit going in overtime. We had the game on free throws in the last minute of RT and fluffed it.
-
@raznomore big loss too, such a massive difference between finishing 6th and 7th
-
Spurs dipped out just when i thought they could pinch it
-
See the magic player Johnathan Issac didn't kneel/wear the shirt (which is fine his choice) . His reasoning was that Jesus will fix racism and we need to find Jesus (or something along those lines).
Next game did his ACL. Looks like Jesus took his knee for him.

Suns go 3-0 with a win over a Clippers squad featuring Kawai, PG, Beverley, Williams etc.

Suns one of the big winners of the restart
Bucks not so much
-
A few wonky results the last few days. Nets over Bucks is a really odd one, even with the Bucks resting a few and giving their starters light minutes - the Nets rested blokes as well it seems.
Suns have a bit to play for, even if they miss the 8/9 play-off. They have their squad in tact, good wins for Booker/Ayton can give them a real lift into 2020/21.
-
The Suns should be using these games to sort out some squad make up niggles. Guys like Bridges, Oubre Jr, Johnson and Kaminsky have at times all looked valuable but have also struggled.
-
Half-hearted effort from the Lakers today but if they're going to give that type of game to anyone I'm happy it was OKC..
-
The team making a big run is the Blazers.
They are closing in on that 8th seed and would be a dangerous match up for the 1 seed Lakers.
Dame, CJ, Carmelo, Nurkic etc
-
Adams was great today. I watched most of the game. Went down hard a couple of times but still came back onto the court with a handy lead. Be interested to see his +/-.
Grizzles are outside chance of missing out on even the play-in as they have a hard road to the end. Pelicans have the easiest and Portland aren't too bad and are playing well. Spurs really needed to get the W today.

@Magpie_in_aus Ja Morant is an amazing player. I think potentially he could be Jordanesque but that supporting cast...
It’s all set up for the Pelicans and Zion now.
-
Suns 4-0. The only team with that record. Edging closer but still a long shot.
-
TJ Warren is the greatest scorer in the NBA

Umm....nah. More Steve Francis-esque
-
@ACT-Crusader each to their own. Athleticism, killer instinct to go at anyone and the ability to elevate the players around him is a good start.

Wouldn't be the NBA thread without your hot takes.
Here's a similar one from a few years ago.

Donovan Mitchell, in my opinion is the closest thing I have see to MJ in a long time. He is a amazing.

Which is everything Stevie Franchise had as a rookie and early career NBA player.
I love watching Ja play and also Dillon Brooks.

I love Ja also. I'd liken his play to Derrick Rose pre-injury. Hopefully he maintains a better attitude although

Meanwhile, does anyone else think the bubble is doing less than fuck all for Rachel Nichols? I think the natural lighting ain't flattering, and she looks like she has grown a thin moustache.
-
@shark definitely a better fit behind the desk and in the studio...
-
Phoenix win again. Now 5-0 in the bubble. Helpfully, Portland go down to LAC and are only. 5 of a game ahead of the Suns in 9th. We're two games behind Memphis who simply just need to continue losing.
-
Fun game between Nuggets and Jazz. Two fairly even matched teams. I don’t usually mind the Jazz, but was very glad they lost this one with the way Mitchell was flopping everywhere.

He’s baaaaaaaacccckkkkk. 39 today against the Lakers and some clutch shots in the 4th.
-
I care not. I just liked that the Suns made him look like a chump after all his trash talking.
-
Denver v Jazz double OT game yesterday was awesome. There has been some incredible basketball on display.
-
@Dice lol I love that! I couldn't stop making hot takes if I tried.
You know what it is though, me wanting them to be the next Jordan.
Edit: I do post under the influence a fair bit.... I'm also meaning when Jordan came to the league. Not the 6 rings ultimate end boss, beat him and you've clocked the game version.

Suns 6-0 fluffybunnies
-
7-0
-
games are starting to get weird. Players are getting rested all over the shop. Spurs hammered the Rockets this morning, both teams resting players, but Houston resting Harden was the main difference.
-
i just saw the Suns had their players introduced by their family and friends over the screens. that was very very cool
Suns are killing the bubble!
-
The Suns, Spurs and Blazers all gunning for the 8-seed, while the Grizzlies hold on for dear life. The 8/9 play-in game has been a great idea and is giving the bubble a bit of life. Can't believe Phoenix, you have to wonder if they had started a little better (and Ayton didn't test positive) they might be up in the 4/5 seed spot.
-
@barbarian suns have been incredibly lucky in the bubble though, they've played so many depleted teams. Look at Philly today, they were without Simmons (season), Embiid, Horford and Harris.!!!
Hard not to think the safe teams arent just jostling for opponents
-
The commentators made that point last week when the Lakers and Clippers played. Provided the Clips get past their first round opponent finishing 2nd or 3rd makes no difference with no home court advantage, and both avoid the Lakers.
