sion that you picked Northland! I would love to have picked the Steamers to be the lowest scorers for the week but worked on the assumption that they might kick a couple of penalties to at least get off nil.............................................
yup, I am not proud to say it, but I admit, I got us as lowest and Wellington as highest.
-
@taniwharugby I know how you are feeling. Remember it was not too long ago that The Bay went through the Philpott era (or should that read error?)!

@KiwiPie said in TSF NPC Tipping 2019:
After one game and you already have 5 more points to add on if you picked Southland as the low scorers. Missing tippers are @trooa fiamacho Caprice @Paj @Canerbry @Waynes-World (and besides them @Nevorian is still on zero having picked Southland 17+)
pretty sure that must have been a massive mis-entry

@taniwharugby You might have stumbled onto something as Nevorian is showing as having tipped both Southland and Auckland 17+ which has all the hallmarks of being an error somewhere along the line. I was specifically referring to their selection of the Steamers to beat The Bay!

@Higgins
edit
I see what it has done...It has the current tipping week at the top of the spreadsheet, but has our tips form every single week, and defaults to Week 1 at the top, but still with current week teams in the top bar. -

Maybe you did something to your copy of the returns spreadsheet. I know I accidentally copied and pasted something by accident and that resulted in a permanent change in my copy no matter how many times I refreshed it. Incidentally KP has recorded you as ten points for last night so his data has not been compromised. -
@taniwharugby All good.
Looks like a real battle between yours truly and Justin77 in the Cup Final with pretty much identical tips with the exception of the BoP V HB game so it looks like whoever is victorious in that match will determine where the Cup ends up. -

@KiwiPie with the high probability of a 3rd team sitting on a donut at the end of this round, I wonder if that is some kind of 'record'?
Were you thinking it would be Northland? Counties almost did it but failed - which annoyed me as I had them as low scorer.

It is all big home wins so far - plenty with 5 from 5 and Hydro11 the best score with 45.

All scores on doors updated at https://www.thesilverfern.com/tipping/ Just 2 more weeks then you can kick back for summer.
Best of the weekend was FarNthHayden with an excellent 64 on a weekend when the margins tended to blow out unexpectedly. He picked both category picks for an extra 10 as did Hydro11 who was 2nd with 62. FarNthHayden picked 7 from 7 results, one of only 4 to do it, the others were Justin77, Gunner and Dogmeat - who still managed to be in the bottom half for scores without a single margin picked.
Overall, it is tighter than ever at the top and we're set for a close finish. Propsicle now shares the lead with Winger by a single point from Bay Imports - but TR down in 14th is only 19 off the lead so one good week can get any of the top 14 into contention.
The play-offs all went to form and so it is the top 2 on the table, Wellington and Wairarapa Bush in the 2-legged final starting this weekend. Wellington were comfortable against the South Island but the Bush won by just a point from Hawke's Bay. Northland had the highest score to easily beat Harbour-Auckland who played a player short as did BOP who lost narrowly to Counties-Waikato.
Higgins won the TSF Cup by just 3 points from Justin77 - in the end it came down to margins with J77 unable to nail enough of those home team blowouts.

top scorer this week looks easy...
