3 games in and here are the latest scores - there are a couple of tippers missing but everyone is playing with a full team of 5. The majority went against Otago and nobody picked them 17+. Pretty much everyone picked Manawatu and Auckland and many were spot on with the margin.

Nobody at all is picking Ta$man to win and just a handful going for the Steamers. Only ACT Crusader picked the Naki as top scorers although a fair few have Northland as low scorers and a couple have Harbour.

Not that my Naki margin really helps given my other tips have been rubbish. I really thought Harbour would be lifting the log tonight.

Here goes - Week 2 is over and the margins were the issue for most people. Games can be close for an hour with these new laws it seems but can suddenly blow out. Or blow back the other way in the case of Counties v BOP. Anyway, picking 7/7 results were Virgil, Cactus Jack, Justin77, Richie, Joan and Mary, Donsteppa, Gunner and Hooroo. Best round was Virgil picking up 4 maximums.

Wairarapa Bush, Hawke's Bay and Harbour-Auckland are 2 wins from 2 while Counties-Waikato picked up their first win. All teams scored between 41 and 46 with so many going picking the same results.

Next week is the qualifying round for the TSL Cup, the top 16 go straight through to the last 32, the rest of the players fight it out the week after to join them.

This is something to factor into your tips for this week. Remember the first game for this round is Wednesday night 7.35pm NZ time, a day earlier than has been the case so far. It will mean that a fair number of matchday 23s will not have been named by then so some guesswork (including whether these guys listed berlow will make the squad!) will be needed when settling on your tips.

Good response to KPs reminder but the following are still obviously mulling over things. Just a couple of hours to go now so be in to bank what looks like to be some easy points at stake in tonight's match. Still to tip are:

Harbour-Auckland: DK

Counties-Waikato: Adam Bowen

Bay of Plenty: All have tipped

Hawkes Bay: All have tipped

2 games in and only Mikedogz has picked a result with margin so far. Nearly everyone got Otago but most went 17+ - Mikedogz picked 1-8. A few went for Counties but all 1-8.

mikedogz 15

ACT Crusader 12

Hawke's Bay 5 - 7 Northland

Broughie's overall lead is down to just 2 over Dogmeat. Mikedogz is up 12 places to 10th and ACT up 7 places to 34th.

Well having finally managed to log on [thanks Kirwan] and this is what I get.

I tried using the new functionality to report you for moderation 😧 for being a cheeky fluffybunny but apparently I don't have enough reputation...

I think like Lennox Lewis (as I'm about his weight) I should chose to retire at the top

Thanks TR, I will have to work out how to use that function! At this stage we are still waiting for Kev from your team to come in!

EDIT: And just like magic Kev has now sent his tips in. This must be a powerful site to get an almost instaqnt response like that! You will be impressed with his Away 8 -> 17 pick for game three - thats confidence in his guys for you!
