my father-in-law was working in some building projects that had Poles coming in and undercutting by huge amounts to get the work and then the building owners weren't bothered that they were stealing the light bulbs, switches, fittings etc before leaving....
-

wonder how much this referendum cost? Cos that's an important factor!

This is absolutely mental. Indexes/futures swinging 3% on silly results, The sterling is moving 1% in a second. I've worked through the GFC and I can't remember panic swings like the last 90 minutes.

Unbelievable. This could be a f'ing disaster.

EDIT: Yes I have. days following Japan earthquake
-

Well, that depends upon how ballsy Cameron is! -

and probably how big a margin there was if the majority wanted to leave?

I am watching it on TV, Remain are still on trouble.

Remain are in ahead, but they have used up a lot of large Remain seats to do so.
-

Remain will get another big boost when Lewisham and Southwark come in.

Classic north east former industrial/ship building town that lost all its heavy industry, 20 mins drive from Middlesbrough where similar has also happened. My parents left Hartlepool in the 60's and thankfully found the Mount :)

Last time I was there in 2009 there seemed to be a bit of sympathy for UKIP. Dad is strongly in favour of remain, but his response to the Hartlepool 70% leave stat was "not surprised".
-

It looks like turkeys voting for Christmas to me. But overall it is democracy in action.

The referendum may not be binding, but going against a Brexit result would be even more damaging I suspect.
-

7,000,000 votes in and separated by 4,000....wow

Heaps of returns to come in from the more progressive southern counties and London, so I'm surprised that his model is so firm on leave. Apparently JP Morgan's model leaning to leave, as well.

Scots doubtless thinking that if they leave they'll be stuck alone with the English! :)

My "model" is sticking with "remain" by a narrow margin.
