If you can remember back to the inaugural NPC Tipping in 2006, the first winners were Thames Valley who I think never competed again. @Brakdov was the first champion.
And no Auckland/Harbour based team has ever made the final.
ahh those were also the days... complaining about Foster and his selections and underachieving results...hmm not much has changed
I was competitive though, alas not so these days.. margins tend to kill me
-
@Kiwiwomble well maybe we can help your memory.

@taniwharugby Oh, I see that now. That means you will have more energy to coerce your fellow Northlanders into sharpening their pencils and fronting up again this season! I am about to start rounding up the usual suspects from the Bush team who are mostly mates of my son and another hanger on, both played NPC for the Bush about ten years back. Hopefully other Bushers like @MN5 and @Machpants might finally do the right thing and front up to bolster what appears to be a Bush team on a slightly waning trajectory. Well they did not win it last season anyway!
I’m certainly a big fan of Bush

@MN5 I love going to Memorial Park and standing on the terraces on the far side of the field no more than ten metres from the sideline, close enough to "feel" the hits going on out there. Even better is you are in the company of rural folk who still have the feel for the game that rural folk have always had and will always have for the game and where having a beer whilst supporting your team with your mates whilst wearing your gumboots or work boots is still part of the game day experience.
Then there is the legendary Gravel Pit of the Wai-Bush Supporters Club under the stands where good old fashioned aftermatch activities are still important.
Importantly will you be donning the green and red for the Bush Tipping Team so I can let captain Waynes World know?

Born and bred in woodville, I am available for selection if required. Played my first rep rugby at age 12 in the green and red!

lol this was @MN5 ..I suspect he wasn't referencing rugby

@bayimports Any genuine Busher is expected to do their duty for the Bush no matter where the are now so @BartMan is quite within his rights to tip for his State of Origin team and even demand inclusion in it as his birthright entitles him to!
