So yeah, safe to say there are a few unicode differences between Android and the pack loaded here, but emojis are like that.

Tried writing a search engine for emojis in an API years ago. Can take years for everyone to agree but at least all parties agreed on "banana"

works fine here in terms of Chrome browser on Windows 10 doing what it says.

Here's what I see when I edit your post:

So I presume that's android icons on the left and 'one' emojis on the right?

I think that's a different issue from the https one where half the icons didn't work or resolved to other styles
