Tipping 2020

Final scores are up for the weekend.
Richie and Kiwiwomble shared the top score of 49, Richie getting 7/7 picks (the only one on a tricky weekend) but not getting a category pick when the majority of tippers picked Auckland as top scorers. Dice is the new leader, Stagazer up to 2nd, Kiwiwomble in 3rd and Caprice shares 4th with Gunner. Richie shoots into the top 10 in 8th place. Big falls for Virgil, Kruse and DK.
Wairarapa Bush and South Island are the top 2 in the teams comp but it is very close with only Counties-Waikato winless and needing probably 4 wins from 4 to make the semis.
All of those winning in the TSF Cup go into the first round proper next week to join the 16 who pre-qualified last week.

This could be a moving week with 3 of the 4 games so far being tough to call, Northland were not picked by the majority and the Canterbury-Wellington game was split almost 50-50. This has led to some very good scores - and some very bad ones. Sportboy, Mikedogz and Dogmeat lead the way with 37/40 and 3 games to go today. At the other end Laurence and Waynes World are in single figures and Trooa is on zero having missed the first game.
All matches have a 4 points or more lead to one team. We have all picked Ta$man, nearly all have picked Waikato while the Shield match is another 50-50 call.

Sportboy was the top scorer, the only one to tip 6/7 and 49 points was the reward, moving him up to 5th place. Stargazer takes the lead by 3 points from Dice with Justin77 in 3rd and Caprice in 4th.
Wairarapa Bush dropped from 1st to 6th losing without a bonus point and the battle for the top 4 in intense with only 2 points covering 1st to 6th. Northland are top, level on top with Hawke's Bay but ahead by a single extra point Missing tippers are @Canes4life and @billsy - your teams need you.

Don't be harsh on yourself - you did get Auckland and Northland.
And shout out to Waynes World who salvaged respectability as the only one to get Hawke's 17+

I think @mikedogz deserves a shout-out for predicting a draw for Cant-Well, in the SuperBru tipping. But only getting 0.5 "Margin Points" for being within 5, because, you know... Golden Point, and all that.

The highest scoring round so far with some easy maximums to be picked. Only one upset but Kiwiwomble was the only one who picked 7/7 to be second highest for the weekend behind Hydro11 who managed 5 exact picks to score 55. Level with Kiwiwomble on 52 were Tim and Kruse with Hooroo the only other tipper to reach 50.
It's close at the top but no change to the top 2 as Stargazer leads Dice by 3. Sportboy up to 3rd, 4 behind Dice and then 7 behind Sportboy there is a logjam of players with 13 players within 10 points and all of them are one big week away from moving to the top.
Wins for Northland and BOP mean they are looking good for the semis but 7 of 8 teams will probably make it by winning their last 2 games.
And finally the TSF Cup quarter-finals are coming up - well done to Bay Imports, Richie, Langakali, Caprice, Victor, Triple T, Kruse, Higgins.

About half the players are still to tip this week and you have less than 6 hours to do it. https://www.thesilverfern.com/tipping

@Hooroo and @Crucial have joined the ranks of the absentee tippers which is bad news for Counties-Waikato who were already propping up the table.
Top score this week for Tim who had the highest score of the season (57) so far and rose 11 places to 3rd overall. Stargazer had 54 to retain the lead by 6 from Dice who scored 51. Nobody scored 7/7 but Fiamacho managed 6/7 despite missing the first game, one of only 4 to pick the Waikato victory. Phooey nailed the season's lowest score, missing the first game and picking 0/6 of the remainder for a miserable 4 points.
Northland had another draw to remain unbeaten but lose their overall lead to Harbour-Auckland who pipped Wairarapa Bush 47-45 in the game of the weekend. Hawke's Bay are up to 3rd with BOP holding the other play-off spot. South Island can still make the top 4 but Wellington and the Bush will need other results to go their way.
In the TSF Cup, Higgins will play Caprice in one semi-final and Kruse will play Langakali in the other.

Hydro11 and Corkscrew top scored with 47, Corkscrew along with Caprice and Broughie managed 6/7 and Hydro11 is now up to 3rd place. Dice took over at the top as Stargazer had a poor 30 meaning the whole leaderboard is closing up, the top 10 covered by just 22 points with 3 weeks to go.
Harbour-Auckland beat Northland to secure top spot in the round robin and they will play South Island in the semi-final after they beat Hawke's Bay to push them out of the semis. BOP will play Northland in the other semi.
Higgins and Langakali will contest the TSF Cup final over the next 2 weekends.
