Tonu'u and Kellaher over Kirk. I thought we were all crusty old dudes here, apparently I was wrong.

i think we assumed Kirk would get picked for Auckland and had already settled on Byron before clicking on first team gets dibs rule...and then never readdressed

I heard of Colling, but not Gemmell.
I think Tonu'u fits best with this Auckland team, Devine or Kirk would go well too

..and look at every other side. The players skew towards a particular time period. Manawatu is an exception because they did not do well during that time
