How is Pita Alatini not playing 12?
Because no one wants him there over Marsh or Aki?
Not a lot in it really except selecting a midfield likely to get the ball to Jonahhe's better then both of those players.
I find the general attitude to Alatini on here a bit strange. Around the turn of the century he was the absolute fucking man.
Welly can have him then
against your own rules

No. If a player played for a union they can select him. If two teams select the same player he goes to the one he first repped

So between Beaver at 10 and Robertson at 13 you’d select Alatini?
Also his best work was as a stepper rather than a distributor. I want the ball going to Jonah and Joeli as much as possible. -

@Crucial What has Alan Dawson done to piss you guys off so much to see him not make the team?
Nothing. Alltime CM legend . Sadly just pipped in the 8 jersey by Brain.
Could have played him at 6 I guess -
@Higgins said in Ultimate NPC: - Counties-Manukau:
@Crucial That was where my question was being aimed at. Dawson should have been a certainty ahead of Tukino and anyone else you might have fronted with.
From memory he played some 6 in his later years (probably among the last 50 of his 200 games) but certainly wasn't at his peak then and was a much better 8.
I had a check and it looks like he was squeezed into 6 for Baabaas and North Island when he was playing 8 so you may be correct about his versatility.
