@Snowy Fuck - he might have set it up so that only I get that hand.
It won't go away - it's like something out of Macbeth!
I'm somewhat amazed that we didn't finally get a Shield Challenge scheduled this year - against All Blacks-stacked Canterbury!!!
As it is, Covid will potentially even rob us of an easy repeat!
(Whomever has Richie Moúnga wins IMO).

Nope, it's your browser cache
I can see the new one
I was going to say that, but he deserves it. You are way to kind.
Damn.

@Bovidae In fairness, Rico can't really expect to get picked for Ta$man after his major dummy spit.
But, I recall him standing around in the midfield looking uninterested.
We're a bit light on good centres.
@Snowy - ah - and now I see the avatar of my choice. In fairness, I only put it up when provoked!
-
@Snowy On the subject of Ta$man imports....you might have seen this guy on the TV news.
I bought a new Texel ram last year - he's the product of artificial insemination using semen imported from the UK.
It turns out that his grandfather came from the same Sportsmans stud.
Unfortunately, they're related, but not closely related.

OK - even though the team above has proven that it can smash anything and everything any of the other provinces can put on the park, I'll indulge in a little fantasy.
15 Leon MacDonald (Sorry @Shark - we're taking Marlborough players. You can have Fergie McCormick, so that Brian Ford can run around him again!).

10 Marty Banks

@Chris-B
You have to put Alan Sutherland in. Fantastic player. Long established AB , captained them mid week on 76 tour of SA, scored 100 first class tries, married a Miss South Africa....Either at 8 or Lock. Not sure when his older brother ray retired but he would be a decent option at Lock as well. Captained Marlborough to their Shield victory in 73.
No love for Todd Blackadder?
-
@dogmeat Toddy only played his debut season for us - not sure even how many games he played. If I picked him, I'd have to pick Brad Thorn!
Alan Sutherland at lock, then - in for Quinten Strange, since I suspect the fern rates PPP over Quin.
I seem to recall there was another big Marlborough rugby family around the same time, who might supply a better centre than Kireon Fonotia - but, the name escapes me.
Edit - Steve Marfell!
