Tony Marsh was better than Alatini.
Marsh never really shone for CM like he did for France IMO. He developed a lot after leaving.
Another contender in the midfield is Laulala (Casey).
I have gone for a couple of legends.Happy to alter my team based on feedback from other CM posters. The rest of you can concentrate on your own squads

Paul Tuoro in place of Cooksley.
My first reaction.
I always liked Kururangi. But those two wingers were kinda handy.
Could have had Sivivatu as well

@Crucial Thought Marsh was really good in 97 and 98, and should've made the ABs in 1998.

I can buy that argument.
Still doesn't beat out Bruce Robertson though.Edit: actually he played at 12 for CM

I like your teams. Not so sure about your 10s. We might yet get to lay claim to Beaver if Waikato don't.I am embarrassed to have left out the Irish centre.
Nicky Allen might have only played 4 games for CM but he also only played 10 for Auckland as well.
His career was so short I barely remember it, but he proved himself very quickly. Some say he would have been a great and writers add him in their top AB lists regularly. Hard to tell whether his sad early death increased his reputation. -

I thought he was an 8?
Played 7 as an international for Tonga. Doesn't get past Brain as an 8.
Brain was a great.
Japan?

Yeah, one of those small pacific countries anyway.

Disgraceful lack of respect for Lindsay Raki.
Even if he didn't have much respect for pokie machine funds staying in the correct accounts...

No lack of respect at all. Was a good servant to the union for many a season. For a long time was the only rep from my school as well.
Never really in the frame for higher honours though.
Would have been a solid super player in today's age but not much more.
