Wings and halfback could be tricky.
@Tim said in Ultimate NPC: - North Harbour:
I can think of a couple of decent wingers
@Crucial Also wondering how Nick Evans fits in. Him to 15 and Osborne to wing?
Fullbacks
Osborne Evans Stevenson George Pisi
Wings
Rico Gear Hosea Gear Wulf Duffie Rush Anthony Tuitavake Woods

Tikirotuma (sp.) also?
@Crucial Yeah, he was pretty good in his day.
@Tim Your backs will be stacked with an awesome midfield combo to feed the Gear brothers (or Rush).
We even had a bit of lomu too but to be fair he was mud at the time!
Midfield will be hard to go past Little and Bunce.
@Crucial Waquesaduadua
@JK Granted but there others that should be considered for a nanosecond. Tipoki, Mayerhoffler, Osborne. Te Nana on the wing
@JK Yeah, can't go past that combo. Scott Pierce was a quality player. Luke MacAlister next off the bemch. Tuitavaki, Michael Little, Saili all good value. Aussie Mike Harris stepped up for Queensland rather than Harbour.
Tens:
Frano Evans MacAlister Warren Burton
Nines:
Strachan Robinson McGahn Hall Chris Smylie
Am I missing anyone from the nineties?
@Tim Willie Walker
Who for openside flanker? Four names spring to mind: Gordon Simpson, Liam Barry, Matua Parkinson, and Craig Newby.
Kevin Schuler was more of a six wasn't he?
15 Osborne 14 R Gear 13 Bunce 12 Little 11 Rush 10 Botica 9 Strachan 8 Shelford 7 Barry 6 Cribb/Schuler 5 Jones/Boric 4 Flavell 3 Afeaki 2 Dowd 1 Woodcock
16 Parsons 17 Tu'inukuafe 18 Borovich 19 Larsen 20 Newby 21 Robinson 22 McAlister 23 Evans
@Tim Does Rico switch teams at half time?
@Chris-B I hope you're not talking about Canterbury flouting the rules by loaning him out to Ta$man. Where he played three games ...
@Tim He played a few more for Nelson Bays. But,....I can't be arsed formatting his table.
had more caps with POverty Bay, Canterbury, Auckland & BOP than he did NB or Ta$man, let alone NH
@Tim He was lucky Reuben had cornered the "Suitcase"moniker!
