The pressure is on KP this week, does he count the Highlanders v Crusaders as a nil nil draw or will the game be removed from points calculations...................................
The big issues aye Higgins

OK here's how the scoring was worked out. Chiefs v Hurricanes a draw so no points awarded. Highlanders v Crusaders cancelled so no points awarded. No points for category picks as not all games played. So your points total is determined from the other 4 games.
All live at https://www.thesilverfern.com/tipping/ including next week's form. More later

Is that how we scored draws in the last? Always thought the margins either side of the result got the part points as usual?
Ah well, same for everyone at least
Yep as my spreadsheet formula ability isn't up to computing it!

Belated report from the weekend
With very few points on offer, it was important to pick all the 4 remaining correctly for a good score. DK, Gunner and Unite were the only ones to pick 4/4, DK and Unite sharing top score of 35. This took DK into a 10 point lead at the top and Gunner up into 5th.
3 Blues B players in the top 5 and this is reflected in the teams comp where they are still 5 wins from 5 after winning their derby with Blues A. They now have a 5 point lead with Blues A still in 2nd spot despite the defeat.
There were 2 draws, Barbarians sharing the points with Canes Black and Canes Gold drawing with the SunJags. That leaves Barbarians and SunJags still in the top 4 but with not much of a gap to 5th and 6th.
Finally BOP Chiefs had a welcome win thanks to Unite and South Island are marooned at the bottom of the table with just a single victory.
In the Cup, Hooroo continued his charmed run, joined by Waynes World who had a no show from Justin77. Also through are Virgil, Winger, Dogmeat, Corkscrew and Rico#1 with Caprice and Joan and Mary (that's just 2 players) having a sudden death replay this coming weekend to see who plays Dogmeat in the quarter-finals.
Finally Paj is the best result picker so far, 75% of his selections have been correct. Best at margins are DK and Corkscrew. All the info is at https://www.thesilverfern.com/competition-stats/

All updated at https://www.thesilverfern.com/tipping/ including the tipping form for next week.
Not a great week for scoring - Rico#1 outstandingly bad with just 7 points, only picking the Canes result correctly and that was 17+ - now has the worst score of the season to go with the best score of the season. Only Caprice picked 6/7, like most she went for the Crusaders but top scorer was Gunner with 47 including 4 maximums. I hope to do a bigger update later.

Carrying on the report ... everyone tipped except Voodoo who isn't in a team - great performance. Not a single person picked Chiefs as top scorers and Crusaders as lowest. In fact Barbarian picked them exactly the other way round. Mikedogz, Caprice, Phooey, Stag and Crucial picked the Chiefs to win and Corkscrew and Waynes World backed the Waratahs.
BOP Chiefs were the best scoring team, being able to discard my miserable effort so that their lowest counting score was a respectable 32 with Mikedgoz and Unite on 41. They inflicted the first defeat on Blues B, unlucky for them as they has the 2nd best score. Gunner 47 and Caprice 41 were let down by previous leader DK's 16 so that FarNthHayden's 22 had to be included.
Blues A beat Canes Gold with solid scoring led by Virgil's 38, the best for Canes Gold was Nevorian on 37. The SunJags sneaked past the Barbarians with GT12's 40 points the best, Barbarians having to include Triple T's 19 due to Rico's 7.
Finally, South Island had a narrow win over Canes Black. Corkscrew had 42 (next best 26) and that was enough as Cactus Jack was best for Canes Black with an average 31 and Stockcar86's 19 had to be included.
Overall, Gunner has taken the lead along with Corkscrew - they are 15 points clear of DK and Plastered Peni with Dogmeat in 5th. Dolamite has shot up to 6th playing as an individual while also flying into the top 10 is Caprice. Dropping out of the top 10 are Smudge and Barbarian - dropping all the way to 20th.
In the Cup, Caprice won her replay against Joan and Mary by backing the Blues to win and then beat Dogmeat to reach the semis along with Hooroo (who only plays disastrous tippers or no shows) Corkscrew and Virgil.

Jeebus, I'm considering retirement as no.1 at this point in the season. This cannot be sustained!

Now that's what I'm used to, as they say shit will float to the top
