What I found tricky this week is I'd usually want plenty of Chiefs and Reds players but their game looks to have the worst weather?

Yeah that's what I'm talking about above, there will be a few games where Fantasy players will need to make selection choices right on kick-off to see what the weather is like etc. I've got a couple of Chiefs players in my team atm but might need to swap them out prior to kick-off if it's bucketing down.
-
I've got Mckenzie as captain as it's hard not to pick him, Wilson for the Reds, but a few other 50-50 calls I just went for the guys in the fine weather games. Will check how it's looking before the game when I make sure my team isn't getting the "Pregame Injured Chiefs Player Shafting" for the 3rd time this season.
-
If they put more value on forward play then the wet weather wouldn't be such a factor, but as it stands you want players from really high scoring games in your team

That could be a make or break selection having McKenzie at 10 this week if it's raining. A risk that may payoff is picking someone like Havili or Barrett instead as they are likely to play on a flat hard track tomorrow night so should get more running metres.

I think I'm about the only one that has dropped DMac this week, hope it pays off.

Interesting the "Cal7" guy who has been leading/top 5 for ages didn't use a single player from Chiefs or Reds, likely because of the weather

Yeah neither have I. I learnt that lesson when the Chiefs played Fiji and no one scored points.
-
I only had Dmac and McReight and moved up 1 spot in the TSF elite
-
And that right there is how I rocketed into the top 25....
-
Yeah I think this was the first week I'd rolled out both Kyren and Caleb as they'd been so consistent....

Super Rugby round 8 proved to be a challenging round for many with a number of key picks failing to fire. Many of us ran into the trouble of selecting the wrong outside backs, players that have previously scored big but only managed single digits. For example I selected Tangitau and Taumoefolau who got 6 and 1 respectively.
The full table after round 8 is below.

I made a last minute decision to move the captaincy from Dmac to Tangitau given the rain on Friday. Cost me 59 points and two positions on the table.

I did exactly the same mate, thought it was a game changer, then Tangitau decides to have a quiet game for the first time this season. The ball really didn't go his way unfortunately.

This week may have the widest bunch of potential starters-no real standouts in a few positions and some regular options like Mckenzie and Barrett out at 10. And maybe the MP-Drua game looking like being the highest scoring?
