Don't remember whether we have a thread for players doing dumb shit, so posting this here.
-
@Stargazer this is so dumb on many levels, he’s actually a bloody talented player..it’s what a union like Southland not to mention the player himself needed like a hole in the head..
Nothing good ever happens when out on the town after midnight little alone 3am in the morning..! -
@Steven-Harris Yeah, if found guilty and resulting in a conviction, this could cost him a possibly good career in rugby. Shame.

You clearly didn't know some of the girls I did when in my teens.
Don't the courts have a rugby player clause / precedent to let him off these days?
-
Either way, I hope in this case, as he isn't too established as a rugby player, NZR promptly terminate his contract if he's found guilty. I thought I was okay with Reece as everyone deserves a chance to better themselves but I've since decided his rapid rise doesn't sit well with me. Won't go further into that as this isn't the thread for it.

Anyway. we have to wait and see what the outcome of the trial is. No point in speculating.
Might as well close this place down then

@Stargazer we comment on judicial hearings in rugby, thats like a Kangaroo court!
-
@taniwharugby No, procedures before judicial bodies (in rugby) aren't like Kangaroo courts. A lot of people just don't understand the procedures, the rules and/or how they are applied. That's fine, by the way, but that statement is incorrect.
