Out of it how it looks like Hayley Holt and Rigor. I actually thought it was until I read the article as I was wondering how he was doing the Bloack at the same time now it is 'Live'

yes, he's aided by being in a sport that has a shit load of medals on offer, but Michael Phelps is a fucking freak. Just won his 19th gold medal. That's nearly half as many as NZ has in total.

Snell and Walker might have had a few more if they'd also been able to run the 1200, 1300, 1400 and 1600 metres - as well as skipping and running backwards over the same distances.

Willis might have won a couple in the "1500 Holding your Cock".

Amazing feat by Phelps, but what it really tells me is there are too many swimming distances and disciplines.
-

actually, scratch that, the only thing worse then the mouth breathers who complain about this shit (people have done that forever) is the media who beat this crap up by creating "articles" that are essentially lists of twitter posts made by the demented.

She's a million times cuter than Hayley Holt too but that may have a lot to do with the cute pommy accent I'm assuming she has over HH's rough as guts Kiwi monotone.
-

Easily the best butterfly swimmer ever. His longevity in the sport is astonishing. To be good enough to swim freestyle and win gold medals at that too makes him the best swimmer ever IMO. And that's before you acknowledge he's put in the effort to master side stroke and doggy paddle for the medley events (where near half his Olympic gold medals come from).

And that's really the issue: He's not the fastest across distances. He's the fastest doing slower shit.

jesus! that's astounding. not just his age, but the event as well. And endurance event won by a kid? amazing
