@Chris If you're right - he simply shouldn't be there.
It's almost equivalent to saying that the new ball suits Willie Watson, so we'll start with Willie and use Sir Paddles as first change.
That is why I have said for over a year he should not be selected it limits your attack massively.
Watson couldn’t swing a barn door another up and down bowling machine.

I do wonder in cricket, with the aid of AI etc to really speed it up, if they will just use the technology for every appeal in the end and the umpires job will just be general game management.

Looked like it was going down leg, a hopeful review

That was catchable, he didn't react in time

They've spent two - can only go for howlers now!

Nice to see Conway looking good!
One more run and he'd have been able to say he scored twice as much as India. Not many who'd be able to say that!
Next session is crucial (as usual). I'm right with @dogmeat - we only want to bat once or have a trivial amount to make in the second innings andit will never be easier to score runs in this game.

I am loving all the salty tears from Indian commentators going on about how unplayable the pitch was for India, and how easy it was for our batsmen. For sure the conditions improved, but given their innings lasted just 30 overs Latham and Conway had to survive in very similar conditions as their openers. Rolling them for 46 in front of their home fans is one of the more enjoyable things I've ever watched.
