@Bovidae You could never question Robs ,fitness, physicality ,tackling and lineout ability but loses his head at times and strays away from game maps which has frustrated the Taniwha coaches but also the Blues coaches .
Is prone to losing head in certain situations
If he can get his top 2 inches in the right place iām sure he can progress from there -

There's a vacancy at 6, which looks like a straight shootout between Segner and Suafoa.

@African-Monkey Che Clark might have something to say about that.

Was gonna suggest him too. I think he'll start down the order but yeah, could see him move his way up in time.

Then there is the Shannon Frizzle conversation, were will he end up ? Crusaders, Blues , any rumors out there.
If he comes back, where would be best for NZ Rugby? Seems like the national coaches want to see Haig, Blackadder, Jacobsen and Sititi starting every week. The Hurricanes are pretty set too. So the Blues are the best landing spot?

Maybe to the Crusaders swap for Blackadder if he takes up the Japanese offer for end of 2025.

3rd 9 would be Preston I'd imagine. He's done enough.
I hope Harkin get's Morgan's spot.
Isn't there a rumour Preston has signed with the Saders? Or am I thinking of someone else?

@Steven-Harris what is the story on Leo Gordon didn't he shift to Northland , great young talent that boy., Injury?

@Chris I'm thinking Blues, think him and Vern have had conversations, his contract in Japan was only 1 season? Or was it 2.
I know Frizell was down with Mounga and the Crusaders for a couple of months when they came back from Japan.
They were at trainings and Crusaders games. -
@george33 he was offered to Northland preseason by Auckland but ended up at Harbour saw him listed early in the season on the Development team team sheet but then disappeared off the scene
Looked really good in the Blues U20s a couple years back
