So Tongia is behind Jack Wilson now?

It's ridiculous. I really hope Tongia gets a contract at another franchise next season. He just doesn't get the opportunities he deserves at the Landers. The Crusaders will need at least one, possible two (if rumours are true) new wingers; not sure about the other franchises.

At least he'll be chomping at the bit when he comes back for Mitre 10 Cup, just like Evans, who also hasn't played for a while.
-

The only thing the Reds have going for them is their scrum which I doubt will have as much success this week as it has in previous fixtures. Highlanders by plenty.

-

This fixture will be interesting to see what the difference is without Mr Smith at the back.

Have tickets to this one and am seriously pissed off B Smith is out. Have never seen him play live and probably wont ever now. -

I am very nervous about this one. Classic banana skin game. The Reds are average, but they have enough in the forwards and the scrum to be a pain in the neck. Plus we have flattered to deceive a bit lately - we aren't as good as a 5-1 record indicates.

Picking an upset here.
-
Really? The Reds are last in their group. They have the second worst points differential and are the worst attacking side thus far.

They drew with the Blues who beat the Clan. Only just lost to the Tahs.

They aren't the Sunwolves.

As Damo says the clan have won the last couple of weeks but not benn all that flash in doing so. Relied on defence more than dominance.

Having said that if anything other than a Clan win I'd be surprised. -

They're an ugly side who try and bring sides down to their level with dirty grubs such as Andrew Ready and Sef Fa'agase leading the charge. Can't say I have much time for the Reds and hope you guys smash them.
-

Our defintion of "flogged" is different.

The Clan put on a defensive show against the Rebels. Deserved to win but did not flog them.

Agreed though they should win by more than a score. -

I am aware of the relative table positions of the team. However I have watched all of both teams performances and the Reds are on the up and the Highlanders are not.

Reds have a very strong scrum and they aren't afraid to scrum for PK's over and over. Highlanders are also missing two of their key players in Ben Smith and Elliott Dixon. Plus we never seem to win in Brisbane (it has been over a decade since our last win there).
-

would say the Reds on the 'up' is still well below the Highlanders current mark.

I think the Reds will have to play out of thier skins to win.
-

"With out pair"

I hate listening to these bellends
-

Bloody good try by the Reds

Super slow mo of Aaron Smith stepping. Comms: "Look at Sopoaga...".
